#1
Hello, I have been working towards a degree in health physics/radiation protection at TESU or nuclear engineering technology at TESU or excelsior. I have completed 9 classes on Sophia for the rest of my general Ed. Calc 1/2 through straighterline. Statistics and biology w/lab and a few other random classes through my local community college (all of my gen Ed requirements are done). I work as a radiation control technician. I’m looking at recommendations to what to do next? Possibly looking for a physics 1-2 w lab online or a chem w/ lab

Or a route something else just need a bachelor degree for work

Those are VERY expensive degrees - you'd need almost all of your major done through TESU/EU. Are you sure this is the degree you want/need? Unless you're in the military or have tuition reimbursement or some way to pay for this, I would not recommend it.

The requirement for my job is to be job “applicable” my job being radiation control. I could possibly seek degrees in some for of management or emergency response if you know of any way to get those affordably.

Maybe a BPS in information technology with a nuclear energy concentration? Anyone have info on this?

You don't need a specific Nuclear Tech concentration for the job right? If that's the case, I would get a BBA from UMPI. If you prefer exams you could also look at the BPS in Business and Management from Excelsior.

The issue is, you have no way of getting UL credits in your major or concentration without spending a fortune.

If you can get a degree in Management, then I'd look into several options: UMPI's Bachelor of Liberal Studies with a Minor in Management (first choice); or a Business degree from TESU, Excelsior, or UMPI.

I'd check with your company first to see what they'd agree to.  UMPI's BLS will be the best, because you have the most space for free electives.

I'd recommend UMPI B.A. in 'Business Administration – Project Management'.  If you're going to go the business/management route this concentration would be applicable to your field. Any field that requires 'control' require projects (which need to be managed).  If you go this route, don't take Project Management at Sophia, as the UMPI courses all build off each other. Here is the Sophia/UMPI transfer list in case you don't already have the wiki link - https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...quivalents
