Hi,
I am confused what to pick in CLEP ,can any 1 say which is easy
History of the United States I: Early Colonization to 1877
History of the United States II: 1865 to the Present
Western Civilization I: Ancient Near East to 1648
Western Civilization II: 1648 to the Present
I have no prior experience with these courses.I want to these courses to finsh my degree fast.....Can any 1 help me please...thank you in advance.

From what I have found from doing some research for myself, you'll find a lot more organized information on:
History of the United States I: Early Colonization to 1877
History of the United States II: 1865 to the Present
A lot of free information available on the internet too. Try this one:
HippoCampus - US History
On the other hand, information available on Western Civilization, I have found from the free sources are very scattered.
Also, think about which subjects do you have better prior knowledge about? Maybe you already have better knowledge of US History than Western Civilization - or the other way around.

This one was much easier than Western Civ II, these are the only 2 I have taken. The Western Civ test was so confusing, the names, so many countries and wars, the extensive periods of time, etc., etc., etc.! US History was no cake walk, but a lot of the names are familiar and the other info was easier to comprehend.

Did you grow up in the USA? If so, you already attended several years of US history, so it won't all be new. I look at it mathematically:
History of the United States I: Early Colonization to 1877 1 country, 300 years
History of the United States II: 1865 to the Present 1 country, 100 years
Western Civilization I: Ancient Near East to 1648, hellavalotta countries, hellavalotta years and a hellavalotta stuff went on.
Western Civilization II: 1648 to the Present, hellavalotta countries, 300 years, war this- war that.
So, my vote is for US History 2, especially if you are over 30.
