I like the format and way ALEKS does it. First take a test and then finish until you are over 70% then transfer to ACE transcript. This works well for me but is limited to only math. If I could do the same thing for other subjects that would be great, since testing is not an option without leaving Taiwan.

I use straighterline now however I prefer the Aleks format, and would like to find something like ALEKS but offering other courses for higher advancement.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

I think straighterline has already solved your problem man. I don't see how english comp could be delivered in a faster way, unless totally by exam. In which case CLEP, or TECEP.

I agree. Especially since it is a writing/research paper course, something like ALEKS may not be available right now. I think in the future someone will create that type of course.
Also, check if an ECE (Excelsior College Exam) would be an option. It is my understanding that they use specific test centers, and if you are not within a certain distance of one, other arrangements can be made.

Thank you everyone.
I am limited here and would have fly to another country to test. However maybe ECE tests are possible so I will research it out. I am taking a straighterline course now so I am familiar with them. I prefer testing but my current responsibilities keep me here for now; unless I can test in Taipei, but from the CLEP page it is not possible.
