I was planing on getting taking the UL psych courses from study.com and then some UL shmoop courses to fit the bill for the AOS and working in history 108 at the moment. Would those suffice for the AOS? Thanks again for the help
That is pretty much what I did. I had a few upper level psych courses from another university and completed the upper level shmoop English courses for a BALS with Humanities concentration.
I took 10 courses at shmoop to fill out other areas and used 2 courses from Study.com to get the discount.
My concentration looks like this
Group 1
LIT-430 Literature and the Media
LIT-323 Women in Literature
ENG-301 The Holocaust
LIT-399 Special Topics in Literature
LIT-320 Shakespeare
Group 2
LIT-208 English Literature I
PSY421 Social Psychology
PSY355 Child Growth and Development
HIS-221 European History II
ENG-246 Poetry I
Capstone - working on now
I also had PSY312 Lifespan Development but that went in gen ed
Okay awesome thanks!! That's definitely the route im going to be taking for this bals so thanks for the added insight! Also how is the capstone going?
It is going great so far. I was really worried about it in the run up and although it's a lot of work it's coming together quite nicely.

A) If you chose the "No concentration" concentration option, it basically means to take 15 UL credits and 30 credits total.
B) If you do chose a concentration, it requires 18 from one concentration and 12 from the same concentration or another.
TESU BALS: http://www.tesu.edu/heavin/ba/Liberal-Studies.cfm
A. Students complete a total of 30 credits of Liberal Studies courses that include at least 15 credits at the 300/400 level and no more than 6 credits at the 100 level.
B. Students select an 18-credit concentration from the list below and complete an additional 12 credits of Liberal Studies courses.
Quick question: do those 15 credits for w/o concentration include the Capstone?
Working towards BALS at TESU

Quick Answer: No, the capstone isn't included in the 15 credits.
You need to do the Capstone in addition to those 15 UL credits.
FYI, Illustrated in the Link I placed in my original post above.

Don't forget to get those study.com courses transferred in before end of the year. The psych ones in particular won't be UL after Jan 1 so get them on your evaluation before the change.

Actually, you just need to get them DONE before the end of the year. Although I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from transferring sooner rather than later.

You are correct. I probably should have started it better. They just need to be done before end of the year. It's approaching fast though and unless you are flying through them it would be easy to miss the deadline - especially if you are on the scholarship and limited to two a month. But getting them in sooner rather than later is always better. Sometimes fighting these things out with TESU because you get an advisor who doesn't know the policy is frustrating. I'm guessing more than one person will have issues around January 1.

Even if you can only take 2 exams per month, you can get through more courses by just watching videos and taking quizzes, and then taking the exam when the new month hits.
