Hi, I just make a deposit(usd 1,000) and I plan to start at July.
May I ask for the course video, it is scheduled or we could replay it along the week?
Total is usd12,000 at Hong Kong.
I read through all this thread, and sound UpGrad is really no support.
I have just finish MBA at UoPeople. It seems the case would be worth than UoPeople.
But as long as usd12,000 for a DBA in usa, it's still a good deal for me. (The local dealer claim that the price would be increase to usd15000 next month)

Hi.
Welcome to the program. The UpGrad support team can arrange for access to any videos you need. They will assist, though sometimes it takes a couple of reminders and escalations.
@waikit, great stuff, tell us how you find it when you start! Did you go through UpGrad or something similar to UpGrad from another 'partner' in Hong Kong?

The final fee for Vietnamese student is 245,000,000 VND ~ US$ 10k
Hi armado, this is great! And if you refer someone you should get $1000 right? Do they accept students outside Vietnam for this price through your referral?

Hey all. Well, the second course is completed, and the grades are in, and I wanted to drop another quick update. The course was BUS 901 Introduction to Academic Scholarship. My opinion is that this should have been the first course as the fundamentals presented would have addressed many of the issues people had in the previous course. The work level and time needed to complete the course was similar to my MBA program. The instructor was the Dean of the program, and her videos and materials were excellent, as was the final assignment rubric. She marked my assignment, which surprised me as I had expected it to be a TA. Her input was spot on. We had one UpGrad conference call, which was too early for me to attend due to time zones, so I skipped it. I was the only person who submitted the optional assignments and group activities. There seemed to be one TA on board for the course who commented on discussions and assignments. UpGrad sent an email about three weeks before the end of the course with instructions on how to book a half-hour TA session. I didn't bother as the last TA meeting hadn't been particularly helpful. I confirmed that the TAs are not Edgewood employees; they are from UpGrad, though apparently, they adhere to Edgewood's standards. I asked questions at three different times during the course and received zero responses. Two questions were left on the discussion boards, once in the group support chat. The only surefire way to get responses seems to be through the UpGrad support email, and usually it requires escalation, meaning it will take 3-5 days for an answer. Overall, I'm still enjoying the program and materials, and I feel like I’m learning a lot. That's it for now, the next update will be in about six weeks. Have a great day! S

Hello again. Course #3 - BUS 904 Exec Supply Chain Management & Negotiations is now complete.
On the Edgewood side of things;
The time it took me to complete this course was a little more than past courses, mainly because the final assignment was an absolute bear. The printed course materials were okay at best, and the video lectures were once again enjoyable and informative. However, these materials did very little to prepare me for the final assignment.
The final was graded by an UpGrad TA again, and I can't help feeling there is a bit of a disconnect. About half of the feedback was spot on; the rest was rather vague and subjective. A few things had me scratching my head. For example, I got docked for two images not showing up, but they are on the Word document I uploaded to UpGrad. I'm guessing they reformatted them in some way, and the data was lost in translation. My final grade was about 10 points lower than I expected, but I did alright in the course overall.
There was zero participation from anyone in the discussion posts. I enjoyed the course more than expected and learned a fair amount, though mostly through my own research.
As far as UpGrad goes, I ignore them. Whenever I have to work with them they continually drop the ball. I can't believe they are even in business at this point.
I'll be back in another six weeks for a short summary of course #4!
