ENEB - exams

(12-05-2023, 03:37 PM)nykorn Wrote: Just took the hotel exam. Passed with 82% and 50 minutes to spare. When you finish, they show you which questions you got wrong but not what the correct answers were. You NEED to use the book to answer some questions, it would be impossible otherwise (some of those "What number of x are there?" questions like in the mock exams). I didn't actually notice any questions that had been in the mock exams but I'm sure there were some.

Every test question and answer had messed up text, I mean like words were not even complete (It would say something like "WhA. is the inforA. we neeA. to..." for "What is the information we need to...") and there was only one question I noticed which could not be answered due to the answers having a different order (like "A) B) A and B are correct, C) D)". I will be Emailing them to tell them to correct the text. Unlike someone else who commented in these forums, I had no duplicate questions.

There is a timer at the very bottom of the screen if you scroll all the way down. I forgot to start the timer before I began so was really stressing out about time until I made it to the end. "Flagging" a question is not like reporting an inaccuracy, it is like a bookmark feature so you can easily find and go back to a question you were unsure about.

When you finish you get a message saying your score, that you passed, that the grades will be recorded into your file within around 7-14 business days, and that the diplomas will begin to be issued after that.

As you have 2 chances to take the exam, and your diploma is not actually issued until the end of the exam period I believe (April 31st for me), I assume you could study and retake the exam near the end of the exam period to get a better score. However a B is fine for me and frankly is in line with all other grades I've ever gotten at any school.

After combing through my incorrect answers, I had 3 where the test did not accept the correct answer, 1 where the jumbled text answers made it impossible to answer, 1 where the question was so vague I could neither know the answer nor find the answer in the textbook, 1-2 where I couldn't find the answer anywhere in the textbook despite the question being clear, 2-3 where I just misread either the question or the text in the textbook.

If they correct my test score to accommodate for those messed up questions, I will technically get bumped up from a B- to a B+, but as I said I think the transcript might just be pass/fail anyways... we'll see.

----------

Just took the MBA + Project Management combined exam. Got 80%.

As other have stated, THAT exam did have duplicate questions as well as several questions (6, including duplicates!) which did not take the correct answer. I have written to ENEB about it. Of the remaining wrong answers, 1 was one of the same ones from the Hotel & Tourism that I couldn't find the answer to anywhere, 1 was me just plain misreading the answer where two answers had almost the same wording, and 1 was that I just spaced out and clicked the wrong answer.

Additionally, 6 or so of the questions were the same between the Hotel & Tourism exam and the MBA + Project Management exam. This isn't crazy, as they do have several chapters in common.

If they fix my score to include the answers which were unfairly marked incorrect, I will raise from a B to an A.
Thank you for this post! I passed my exam in November already and was wondering why the diploma department hasn't reached out to me yet (they usually do asking to confirm data and issuing a "proof of processing of diplomas"). As you mentioned, this probably won't happen before the end of my exam period which is December 31st, then. Guess, I'll just have to wait some more time then.

The T&C says: "After completing your exam, the process for your diplomas will begin, and we will contact you to determine your preferred delivery method (digital delivery, physical delivery, or delivery with the Apostille of The Hague)."

I would reach out to diplomas@eneb.com for a status update.

I already have reached out to them on Monday, however, I haven't heard back yet

In case anyone else has this problem: When I Emailed the ENEB academics department informing them of the incorrect test questions on the exam, they told me to Email my tutor on the platform about that or any confusion over the course materials, and that they can only correct the test (or, I assume, my answers and the course materials) if it goes through a tutor. I have messaged one of my two tutors and am waiting for a response.

Does anyone remember if the quizzes factor in to the grade? I seem to recall they're not, but the highest grade is still recorded in the grade book. My quiz score is abysmal and I'm wondering if it'll bring my overall grade down, or if they really only look at the test results.

Interesting that you have to pay for 2 exams for the MBA + Master program and then only have to do one exam for both degrees.

I paid for 2 exams for the MBA + Master progran (HR) and did two separate exams. Both had questions with answers that did not match the study material. I have wrote ENEB twice and not gotten an answer. If not for the incorrect questions, I would have gotten 100% on both exams. Ended up with a 9.6 (MBA) and 9.4 (HR).

Did you try messaging your tutors on the campus website about it? I have 2 listed, one hasn't accessed the campus site since Dec 4th and the other since Nov 28th. I messaged one on Dec 7th but no response yet, so now I messaged the second one too just in case. I just want to fix the problem for any students who come after us.

I paid for 3 exams but was assigned 2, as I wrote. Now I double checked the exam info in the ENEB Master Thread from around April, with the Email I got about the exams months later. The information is different, so they must have changed the rules between "test seasons". I guess I'll see what happens when I get my diploma.

I have contact the academy@eneb.com email address and two of those listed here. My scores are high enough to pass, but I would still like them corrected. My main motivation however is geared towards those who would come after us. My first message was sent on 11/24/23.

Ok, good. I contacted my actual tutors that appear only when you log in to the campus, and didn't use those Emails. Hopefully one of us will get a response soon. If another week or so goes by without a response, I'll post something general in the course forums about it, without revealing any detailed test information.

Just completed the information collection form for the physical diploma delivery, but I have not received the e-diploma yet.
