ENEB Master Thread
Does anyone have a link to "upgrading" or "renewing" your diploma from the old version to the new version? Or do I have to just pay for a new Masters outright at this point? I decided to upgrade my Hotel Management one to the Revenue and Hospitality one.

I have been a student for over 10 years. The only thing I have ever used a student discount for was train tickets and museum entrance in Sweden, and Amazon Prime in the US. Also most places only accept domestic student cards so you have to double check that before you assume you can actually use the one you got.

nikithewise Wrote:Here just got my Isabel/ENEB MBA evaluation. They are still evaluating as an MBA for the U.S.

Which other evaluation should I go for? Don't need it for studies, just to have something showing the equivalency.
Is WES still doing MBA for Canada or was that just one case a few weeks ago?
Is it by default seen as an accredited MBA in the EU?
Has anyone experience with Isabel sending out the diploma directly to evaluators? Just got the digital diplomas.

1) If I had the money to gamble, I would try any NACES evaluator that is NOT listed on the Wiki, because we don't know if the result could be really good.

2) The situation for ENEB in Europe is complicated, as seen on the Wiki https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/EN...er_credits

ENEB degrees usually break 1 of 3 common European country degree rules.
A - It does not contain a final project or thesis worth at least 15 ECTS.
B - The total 60 Spanish ECTS of the degree is worth less than 60 domestic ECTS and that country requires a degree to be worth at least 60 ECTS.
C - The degree is not registered with the government and King of Spain in the Spanish degree database, and in that European country domestic degrees must be registered with the government as there is no other kind of accrediting body in that country.

So for example, it is not seen as an accredited degree in Germany, yet it is seen as a degree in the neighboring country Denmark, just not as one which can get you into Doctorate studies.

3) As far as I've ever heard, Isabel never sends out proof of degrees or anything for titulo propio, only ENEB does that. The closest thing you can do is tell the evaluation company to use the QR code to verify the degree in Isabel's database. You will find people who have gotten Isabel to send their degrees somewhere but on closer inspection it appears to be people who went to Isabel itself as a normal student, not a "satellite school" like ENEB.
Complete: 1) Trade school - Hospitality, Bartending. 2) Swedish BA - Japanese. 3) ENEB MA - Hotel, Project Management, MBA. 4) JLPT N1, 120-hour TEFL, TISUS, substitute teacher license
In Progress: 1) WGU MA - Education for teacher licensure. 2) Mastercurssos MA - Child Development.

Which one did you get? Depending on how fast you go and which option you selected (assignments or exam), it would be 3-6 months.

Yes, I have the ENEB card, it's actually, not an ENEB card but an ISIC student card. There are discounts for everything, from Apple Education Discount, to Amazon Student discounts, and so on. Well worth the money I spent on it...

Absolute best-case scenario last year was that assuming you are familiar with the material, could do all the homework in a week or two and ENEB is prompt with grading and issuing the diplomas, you might have gotten everything submitted and graded in under 3 months and you might have gotten your degrees issued in another 3 months. They might be faster at it all now.

Hi there - I haven't looked at the course list between the old and new degree programs for this particular program, but I would say there most likely are new classes you need to take. I have chronicled my efforts to get the updated HR degree as well as the new degree in coaching and mindfulness and it has taken some effort on my side to keep the wheels turning. You can go back through the last few posts of mine to see exactly what I mean. Best of luck, you can get there, it's just wading through the typical ENEB inconsistencies we sometimes are prone to experience.

Was informed by ENEB due to IT working on a part of the platform course Exemptions are currently not available with no timeframe available when Exemptions may resume.

Upon hearing this I just wrote a kind response and asked for consideration to make an exception to the rule, as the ENEB website has nothing available as to the recent status of Exemptions, to include Exemptions are available in the ENEB Marketplace actually, and the link I used to make payment for the Course Exemption Fee was not disabled.

We shall see if my request might land in the positive side of an inconsistent responder.

I didn't want to get too confrontational, but has anyone been given any type of Exemptions when starting an ENEB training program with a Bachelor's program, incomplete credits from another degree program, etc.?

The world won't stop spinning I know if they don't provide this exemption or choose to not respond, but another email may just make all the difference, you never know as ENEB can sometimes be soooooooo inconsistent and sooooooo frustrating to deal with.

I just experienced another round of inconsistency. I have the (old-style) MBA + Big Data program in my account. They are currently running Black Friday deals—€99 for adding an extra program. I contacted the information number listed to ask if I could add a Master’s in Project Management. The ENEB employee at this service number stated that it was possible. They told me I just needed to purchase the extra program and then contact the Academic Department.

However, the Academic Department stated that this was not possible.

I also inquired about changing my (new-style) Double Master’s program, which I have scheduled to start in 2026 (with the option to start earlier), to better align with the courses of the Global MBA. The sales representative assured me this was also possible and again told me to contact the Academic Department.

When I contacted the Academic Department, they informed me that it is impossible to make any changes. They said they could only add the Master’s in Project Management to my account. This, however, is of no use to me if it doesn’t integrate with the Global Master’s. As a result, I asked them to cancel the extra Master’s program I purchased. I was instructed to request the refund through Hotmart, and I am now waiting for it to be processed.

I suspect they have outsourced their sales to external representatives who have only limited information.

I guess with ENEB, you get what you pay for...

If I were you I wouldn't give up the ghost just yet.  I would email both the academy email and the secretaria@eneb.es emails to see if there is a different answer you might get.  It's frustrating, I know, but I there may be someone more influential or more in the know on the Spanish side of the school that can advocate for what you've requested.  I doubt they would want to process a refund and lose fees.

Hi Mike,

Which degree program did you happen to enroll in?

If you have purchased the written methodology, there is nothing that prohibits you from turning in final projects as fast or as slow as you desire.  Also, if you are not aware, and excuse me please if you are, there are no other requirements to receive course completions by way of the various course surveys (quizzes - I believe they are called surveys).  I started late August 2022 and by the end of October 2022/mid November 2022 I had completed the MBA with the Master in HR and Master in Management and Team Management, as so many courses were cross-listed between the programs.  I then picked up a few more programs in Winter/Spring 2023 and finished off with the Master in Project Management spring 2023 because I had submitted my professional certification in Project Management for consideration and was awarded two courses Convalidada (exempted).

Being an ENEB student since 2022 I have submitted projects both the old way through email submission and with my recent return via the online portal and the process for the return of grades has improved and has overall had a quicker submission time.  I do have to say the current graders are grading the papers harder than what I experienced during my 2022-2023 time as a student.  I did have a challenge with getting my Master in HR degree awarded, and it was actually the first one technically finished but awarded last of my original 3 degrees because one of the projects was lost as an email attachment and I had to resend.  After that I can't recall how long it took to get my HR diploma but it was a few months for whatever reason on their end.

Finally, as for grading, then versus now, if you are a perfectionist be prepared to invest time and effort detailing exactly what the Final Project template has asked for.  And, even then, I have to say there was one of my recent projects I still do not understand what the grader appeared to think what had been asked for in the project versus the feedback they provided to me when I got the project returned...

Best of luck to you!

I ask because I am on my 4th email to the ENEB diploma and academy emails to get my grades updated--ENEB has updated 4 courses I had previously completed and I have now written again to ask for the update to be made to the final course.  On 8 November 2024 I also included with the email the final grade reports I had received with the projects for the former classes and wrote a simple, yet descriptive email with bullet points, indicating the old course name, new course name, date graded, grade and referenced the grade report attached.

I note the grades were updated in my ENEB campus on the 11th...but they overlooked one.  Also, no response to my emails advising changes have been made, I just happened to be checking for any changes on my ENEB campus.

These grade updates were requested after I did finally succeed in getting the credits I had requested to be awarded through Exemptions/Convalidada, which I had paid for the Exemption fee but then was told Exemptions were on hold indefinitely due to whatever updates are being made to the online campus.  The grades were added after I had written a response indicating I had paid the Exemption fee over a payment platform that was still working and the option was also listed as available in the ENEB website marketplace.  No response from ENEB indicating they had done it, but, again, not complaining, just glad we are this far with closing out these requests and getting closer to award of diplomas.

In an earlier thread I did indicate I would update with the current experiences I am going through with earning a new degree following the program upgrades/changes with ENEB and my efforts to get former course work credited alongside the new course work in order to get diplomas for the last two degree courses I completed.

Update:

Maybe we should come on this forum and b#tch about our ENEB frustrations because I logged on this morning to my Campus and there was my new degree and my updated degree available for download.

All the grades I had asked them to update in the two previous emails were updated.  There was no email though indicating any changes were made to my Campus or any other emails indicating there were diplomas waiting for me in the ENEB Diploma Download area in my Campus.

As promised, here is a copy of the ECE Subject Analysis Report.

As i mentioned previously, ECE no longer accepts ENEB Transcripts and ONLY accepts the digital copy of the Universidad Isabel I diplomas [both pages]. In addition, they require a copy of ALL Syllabi for each degree [or each Module] taken.

Again, I cannot speak for every university, however, Excelsior University requires this report for transfer credits and has already stipulated a few transfer or admissions policies:

1. [Email response I received from Excelsior Eval Team] "For the first question, yes, a 2.5 credit course can be used to satisfy a 3.0 credit course (except in the case of Written English where a student must have 6.0 credits total so (2) 2.5 credit courses combined would not meet that requirement).  Most of the credits on this student’s ECE transcript are business courses so that shouldn’t be a problem."

(Note: ECE has now increased the credit awarded to 2.75 per course [Oct 29, 2024]

2. Excelsior has instructed ECE that a designation of [S]atisfactory,  meets the requirement of a grade, [A, B, or C] and is transferable into Excelsior as Upper Level Bachelor credits.

3. As in most Universities, the ECE report reflects [several] US RA Bachelor's degree [Equivalents] for admissions into a Master's degree Program.

Based on my current relationship with Excelsior, I have transferred approximately 45-50 credits prior. Now I have the potential to transfer from this ECE Report, 27 ENEB Modules x 3 credits = 81 credits. I will keep you posted on the Excelsior Degree Audit.

Be aware that Excelsior charges $300 for a non-enrolled student to do a degree audit. I'm trying to find a way around that or I may have to pay that $300 to see how many credits Excelsior will accept.

I hope this helps.

-Dr. Smith
What format is this syllabi supposed to look like? Do you download some specific things from the eneb page?

Let me answer in two ways:

1. Because my MBCC is no longer offered by ENEB, I had to go into the student portal and download the 6 Modules PDFs to send to ECE.
2. All of the other Masters Syllabi are available on the ENEB website under each degree page. You go to PROGRAMS > MASTERS > Choose a program > then scroll to the bottom of each Masters page and click: DOWLOAD THE GUIDE AND STUDY PLAN

I had to send ECE 3 "study guides" which are basically the program syllabus. And since there's no page for the MBCC, I sent them the additional 6 Modules PDFs. That was enough for them to evaluate each course.
Oh.

Thank you very much.

@BadSquirrelBeta: They informed me of their decision not to offer the option of combining the current MBA and Big Data Master I have in my account into a Global Master's by purchasing the Master's in Project Management in quite strict wording ('this is a final decision' - guess they had to deal with people entering into discussions with them in the past, as I only wrote them 1 e-mail). I responded by requesting a refund, and they indicated I could do so through Hotmart within 15 days, which I did. I still need to check if I’ve received the refund.

I don’t think the extra “Master’s,” or even the ENEB MBA, adds much to my résumé, given that I already hold multiple degrees from traditional universities. In fact, I recently removed ENEB from my LinkedIn profile because I felt it might actually diminish the perceived value of my other degrees.

That said, I don’t think the ENEB material is bad—it offers a lot of value for the money and provides decent learning opportunities. However, their questionable marketing tactics (e.g., fake pricing, Groupon deals, "only 8 places left" claims), combined with the fact that they offer marketing master’s programs yet fail to attract many active followers on their own social media accounts, make ENEB appear somewhat dubious to outsiders.

Also, thanks for the insights regarding the differences in grading now compared to earlier. It seems like they’re relying more on AI-based grading now, speeding up the process (and maybe also making it more strict). I’ve heard that, in the past, it was easier to receive unrealistically high grades (e.g., many 10-out-of-10s being issued, which would be virtually impossible at a regular university in the Netherlands—especially not for written exams. For a multiple-choice test, it’s theoretically possible to score 100%, but highly unlikely on a challenging exam).

I cracked out and finished 3 (MBA + Master in Digital Marketing + Master in AI) in a month. It's a lot but it's doable.

Wow, amazing... Did you do the exam option? It took me 7x the amount of time to get 3 done...
