Hello,

Thank you for your application.

Please note that in order to provide recognition for academic awards from overseas, it is first necessary to establish their status in the country of origin. Unfortunately, ENEB does not have degree awarding powers and therefore, and to proceed, we would require:

- a clear colour photograph of an official letter issued by from the Universidad Internacional Isabel I de Castilla or the Consejería de Educación, in Spanish, stamped or signed, confirming the completion of the course, the official Spanish award title (e.g., 'Título Oficial de Máster Universitario' or 'Máster Universitario'), and that this award is nationally recognised

or

- a copy of the official final certificate in the Spanish national format to be an A3 document of landscape orientation, which has a yellow background and states the King's name and the relevant Consejería de Educación clearly at the top

To add these documents, please select the Update / Amend your Application button in the User Portal and then Add Requested Documents. You will need to follow the information on screen at this stage to provide the files. This should be uploaded as a jpeg file.

Kind regards
The Evaluations Team

Contact ENEB. They have the option for the creation of any non-ordinary certificate or document to meet a student's specific needs and academic requirements (for a fee of course).

It's also listed in their Market Place. It costs $39.

https://eneb.com/marketplace2024/
What is a  non-ordinary certificate?

If you read the response from ECCTIS carefully, they are requesting very specific documentation with very specific information to be submitted before they will proceed with their evaluation.

It seems that ENEB might be able to produce a document to satisfy the specific requirements from ECCTIS.

This is the specific wording from the ENEB Marketplace:

"Request the creation of any type of non-ordinary certificate or document to meet your specific needs and academic procedures."

It would be best that you contact ENEB for more information.

this is not possible, essentially eneb/isable certificates are the university's own titles, which are awarded by the university itself, eccits only assesses official Spanish master's titles, and official Spanish master's degrees are uniformly printed by the Spanish government and have the king's signature on the degree certificate. eneb's institutional nature dictates that they are not able to do that.

Licensure is granted by the Spanish government, similar to how most US licensure is granted on a state by state basis. Thus Spain has two separate types of post-secondary education, one being where the school designed its own curriculum without direct oversight from the Spanish government in the curriculum planning ("titulo propio", but known under a variety of names), and the second where the school did receive direct government oversight including to ensure it means licensure requirements ("titulo oficial" but also known under a variety of names). Unlike in America, government or accreditation oversight is NOT given on a school by school basis in Spain, instead it is given on a course by course or degree by degree basis - thus one program at a Spanish school may be "propio" but another at the same school is "oficial". "Oficial" degrees are formally registered in a higher education database with the Spanish government and showcase the signature of the King of Spain, whereas "propio" degrees do not.

The nature of these courses is completely different and their own titles will never be official

I read a lot of people saying that propios are not recognized by Spain's government. They are recognized, they're just not registered with them. Only "oficial" degrees are registered. Spain's government does not involve itself in the curriculum of propios, but they do give some oversight and it's usually in the form of discipline when a school does something unethical with a propio. We've discussed that here before.

For people in the United States, propios are a goldmine of education. You can earn a degree in nearly every single subject that would literally cost $60K-100K+ to do in the United States, for as a low as $300 from a school in Spain. Everything from wildlife to history to medicine to psychology, and all in a structured format. Even the programs that are entirely in Spanish are a non-issue because translation software like DeepL works really well these days and some students have reported using translation software to take Spanish programs and acing those programs. And, the icing on the cake is that most of these programs count for at least college credits in the United States which savvy people have taken big advantage of in cost-saving and time-saving.

I read a story a few years ago from a lady who took a Master propio program in Medicine entirely in Spanish, finished, then applied and was accepted into Medical School here in the United States. It's not that the propio made any difference to her being accepted to Medical School (maybe it did, maybe it didn't) but she said that having taken the propio program she was a big step ahead in med school. She said the concepts were easier to understand because of what she learned in the Spanish program, with the only exception being that Spain takes different medical approaches to some things, but that's to be expected. If I can ever remember the program and school she mentioned I'll post it here.

Ha, I just wanted to make it clear that ENEB/Isabel can't do the ECCTIS evaluation and get into the UK Recharge Masters. I just wanted to make that clear.

That's correct, Propio will not be evaluated the same as Oficial, this is going to be the case no matter how you try to slice things. Even though it's recognized in Spain, the recognition is different (it's not like RA vs NA), the main restrictions are 'working for government agencies' and getting into doctoral studies at research institutions. ECCTIS shouldn't evaluate it as equivalent to UK Masters either as there is no thesis, it'll be evaluated as UK Level 7 diploma, you'll need a top-up program to get the Masters of your choice.

You are wrong, what is happening is that ECCTIS only accepts official masters for evaluation and does not evaluate the university's own titles, so.. Dodgy

Yes, I got a promotion - minor pay raise, change in duties, more hours. Haven't tried to look for a new job with it yet. I work at a hotel, got the Hotel degree. My new position counts as skilled labor and can get me work visas abroad, which was my aim.
Complete: 1) Trade school - Hospitality, Bartending. 2) Swedish BA - Japanese. 3) ENEB MA - Hotel, Project Management, MBA. 4) JLPT N1, 120-hour TEFL, TISUS, substitute teacher license
In Progress: 1) WGU MA - Education for teacher licensure. 2) Mastercurssos MA - Child Development.

ENEB just switched up all their programs in the English school. It looks more like the Spanish school programs now.

GLOBAL MBA
MASTER IN BIG DATA AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
MASTER IN COACHING AND MINDFULNESS
MASTER IN DIGITAL BUSINESS
MASTER IN DIGITAL MARKETING AND ANALYTICS
MASTER IN FINANCIAL MARKETS AND ASSET MANAGEMENT
MASTER IN FINTECH & BLOCKCHAIN
MASTER IN HUMAN RESOURCES AND TALENT MANAGEMENT
MASTER IN LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
MASTER IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT
MASTER IN REVENUE MANAGEMENT AND HOSPITALITY
MASTER IN SALES MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING
MASTER IN TEAM MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP
MBA – MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The programs look much more robust, comprising content that you would expect to find related to the subject matter, with a lot less overlap between programs.

They've also dropped the Specialization diploma in Executive Coaching and NLP and now instead have a Specialization Diploma in Innovation and Project Management.

Honestly these options look great. Had I known they were coming I would have waited before starting my studies.

P.S. there doesn't appear to be a Master in AI, but they've added an Executive course in AI.

Still no word on my Hotel & Tourism Isabel diploma. They did reply to my other Email I sent on the same day, saying any changes to names on Isabel's verification page must be sent as Emails to Isabel staff not ENEB.
