ENEB Master Thread

I received several updates today; two submissions and one inquiry on transfer approval.

Side note: ENED has responded over the weekends, so I doubt that was the issue and lean more towards they are backlogged. Reminds me of UMPI reaching an awareness tipping point on forums like Degreeforum and then getting backlogged due to inquiries and applications. Perusing the chats in ENEB, a common ask is for help on assignment feedback and grades. Reading them just ended my interest in thinking about their response time.

Did they allow you to transfer credits from your Google and IBM certificates?

I definitely get the impression HR is incredibly backlogged. Still no acknowledgement.

Got an acknowledgement from marketing very quickly for a project I worked on over the weekend.

I have seen ENEB staff reply on the weekends. I think whomever assigns the grading load works weekdays but the actual graders are all contract markers with regular day jobs in professional workplaces.

I am in the same boat with many actively learning with ENEB; as for turning in papers, yes, they appeared to be very backlogged.  

• My Advertising final was graded and turned around to me in about 7 days;  
  
• I got confirmation this morning from Operations my report was in for grading I turned in over the weekend;
  
• I have assignments in with Marketing, they have always seemed the fastest to me to turn things around;
  
• HR, I have to agree with one of the previous posters, they must be horribly backlogged as I have been waiting on the final project grade to be graded for over a month.  I re-submitted the latter part of December after they requested and I have yet to hear on that project still.  I'm giving it until the end of this week if I don't receive anything.
  Overall, the ENEB team has been responsive, I had some frustrations early on with the Accounting Department, as it took a couple tries to get one of my assignments turned around, but eventually it did make its way back to me.

Did they allow you to transfer credits from your Google and IBM certificates?

I didn't try to have my IBM certificate transferred for any kind of credits with ENEB.  It was a great pre-requisite though for me.  I found it very helpful to understand more and articulate the importance of data in my projects.

I knocked out the four overlapping courses in the MBA & Master Big Data and Business Intelligence.

Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and Executive Coaching.

I was interested to see how the turnaround time is with grading. The average length of the assignments was 15 pages, including title and source pages, with an average of 10 sources per assignment. I only did ten based on some interesting feedback in the thread on there being pushback for lack of sources. It felt like overkill by about 4; however, it was not much to add a few more as I crafted the assignment.

Based on the turnaround and feedback, I will decide how high I put this on my list of activities for Q1.

I got their feedback recently: I've been waiting for my NLP grade for over a week, while the other three have a relatively fast turnover in a few days, even during the holiday seasons. I got a few 9.75 for lack of graphics/citations but wasn't too concerned about fixing it to a 10. My paper was also in the range of 15 pages, while they did give me an 8 for e-commerce that's 8 pages in content with 8 citations that I did fix.

Also, they list both initial and revised grades in the notesphp, I'm not sure if they both show on the transcript.

I had a 9 and a 9.75 in my MBA that I did not submit for correction.  With the Validential evaluation I had recently done, the 9 and 9.75 came out as an A for each course, and a 4.0 in the American grading system along with the rest of the courses that were graded as 10s.


Are we even permitted to turn a paper back in for re-evaluation that isn't below what ENEB considers a passing grade?

How does graduation work at ENEB? Do you email the registrar to ask them to graduate? Or do they automatically notify you?

If you are doing a dual degree and complete one of the two degrees, do you need to complete both to graduate or can you graduate with just one degree first? I'm quite keen on getting evaluations completed since the process can take quite a while.

Once your final grade is posted on the degree you have finished, you will get an email confirming completion. It takes about 6 weeks from that date to receive your digital diploma. There is no "formal graduation" ceremony or some such. And yes, even though you are in 2 or 3 or 5 Master's programs, whatever you finish, you graduate from that degree program. I'm in 4 Master's with ENEB, but I graduated in 2022 with 2 of them in different months (March & June 2022). But because ENEB gives you 18 months for 1, 24 months for 2, and so on, I have until Fall 2025 to complete my other 2 Master's. So, it doesn't matter when or in which order you finish. Once you complete all the Modules for a degree, you then wait for them to send the email confirmation and then the digital degree later.

Thanks for the details. This is how one would expect, but sometimes there are surprises. Until UMPI, I was not up on the digital diplomas,  even though it makes sense that there would be, as with other certificates and badges.

So I have to admit when I first started the courses I didn't know what to expect.  The first 10 coming back I was like OK, now I must get straight As.  

I look at it this way ... the additional research has given me so much more when I expand on the subjects in the papers.  

To each their own, because, LOL, learned this in undergrad, despite always going for that 4.0 GPA, no one in the real world cares what your GPA was LOL LOL LOL.

Guessing your overall point is with job opportunities or the corporate world, rarely is someone asking about your GPA. For young candidates, it is not uncommon for top-tier organizations' HR will ask about your GPA or offer an opportunity to share honors if earned. One's experience will out-value GPA, and if you are an older person, I will bet your statement of 'no one cares' probably rings true.

In academia, many people care, especially about master's and doctorate programs' acceptance for entry.

Also got my NLP turnaround within a day after sending a follow-up email. To those fellow PMPs, if you go for the Master in PM they would validate the PMI cert for 3 course
