ENEB Master Thread
I submitted my first assignment to hr@eneb.com. This was for executive coaching and will fulfill two class requirements. I used my PMP perspective on this, and stated, I used my perspective as a trained PMP on this. Hopefully it goes well.

But it isn't. We've already confirmed that in the 80+ pages of debate and discussion, complete with successful credential evaluations from NACES evaluators.

This sounds like a slick way of getting an advertisement onto the board.

Makes me wonder what is the value of this degree if it is not accredited. What good is it? I feel personal it's a worthless piece of paper that I can hang on my wall to say "Hey I have a Master's Degree". Someone shine some light on me what can ANY of these degrees be used for as this program is like $300 USA?

It's accredited for various definitions of accredited. The European (and especially Spanish) system is quite different to the American system. See https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/EN...an_Utility for some reasons why an American might want such a degree. It's not for everyone, but there are some good reasons to get such a degree.

Checking boxes, employment, transfer to other universities (post-evaluation), professional development, personal development, and just cheap opportunities to study something you're interested in. You're probably right that an unaccredited degree is often worthless, but this one isn't unaccredited, per se. Aside from that, your opinion is your opinion.

If you personally feel like it's a worthless piece of paper, don't enroll.

I personally feel like the degrees are suitable for the various reasons I enrolled, hence why I enrolled.

Europeans can often go to university for free. They don't even have to pay $300. Universidad Isabel I is a private Spanish university, but still...I am not sure why this "questionable degree, becouse of the low cost" argument keeps popping up on this board. It makes no sense. Even in some states in the U.S, you can now attend college for free under certain conditions. How does the price tag inform you about a degree's worth? You can easily verify the authenticity of the degree on the accredited Spanish university's website.

I'm low key doing this degree to see if I can transfer it to a graduate program to avoid externships in America. Smile

The main reason I took the ENEB offerings was to preview/review what I learned previously, and to make sure I'm up to par on my writing skills. Basically it was to prepare for future Masters level writing in Business related topics... Another reason someone might want to get the ENEB offering is because NARIC evaluated 5 of their offerings as equivalent to an advanced bachelors degree (final year of a 4 year honors degree), the Masters in Big Data was equivalent to a Masters.

I found their textbooks to be really easy to read. Bit dated on information, but easy to read. I kind of like it. Gives me a glimpse into a different era with a great refresher review. I'm doing MBA + Big Data now. I'm down with 1 class almost done with 2 so far. My MA let me get away with a lot.

Thank you for sharing the NARIC evaluation. Looking at the wiki I think I'm going to try to send it via IEE to my doctorate school in hopes it counts as graduate credits. If it doesn't, I'll take some VESI courses. I'm hoping to avoid an externship I believe I'll have little time for. Unfortunately ENEB told me I have to finish the program before a transcript can be generated. I was hoping to do one, and send it over, if it worked do the others. They did agree to let me finish 1 degree (MBA) first and transfer that over, while I still work on big data.

-------

I also found some old posts that people are saying the level of effort is not worth the MA level. These final projects, are very close to some of the lower-level grad classes I did at University of Maine. The main difference at UMPI is that you had to do 12 milestones before the final ,but your grade was 100% based upon your final. ENEB basis your grade on your final. The modules are there to help you learn. If you do this as a true program, ENEB's Master's are pretty damn good. ENEB's difference is the quizzes. If those quizzes were proctored, I'm betting a lot of people's tune would be different.

I got my first graded component back. They graded it as an 8.25 I argued over their bibliography, as they docked me down to 4/10 for too few resources. The project didn't have a bibliography. They upped my grade to 9.25

FYI for people doing this I recommend 15+ sources in bibliography. I did just ten and they didn't like it.

That's crazy. If they're going to do that, then they really need to nail down a minimum requirement for sources, because this is now the 4 or 5th time I've heard something like this.

I know this sort of subjectivity is common in grading everywhere in the world, but with the sheer volume of papers they take in, the last thing you want to have is people being graded all over the map with the same or greater number of sources, but without a set rhyme or reason for grading in those ways. It not only makes a bigger workload for the administration having to field so many grade challenges, it's also frustrating for students who can't be sure before submission whether or not they've supplied enough source material to satisfy an unwritten rule.
