ENEB Master Thread
(08-20-2020, 07:46 AM)msganti Wrote: In my observation, the standards for evaluations for employment/immigration purposes are a bit lower compared to academic (also called course-by-course) evaluations, and this applies to many evaluators.
Next time, go for a course-by-course evaluation to see how those credits translate to US credits.

You make a fair point. It's important we keep in mind that if a service finds a degree to be substandard or bogus, it won't be positively evaluated regardless of the evaluation type.

So even though some may not get the Masters degrees from ENEB/Universidad Isabel I evaluated as equivalent to a RA Masters, it would serve a student with an Associates degree or someone who is already a junior or senior well to earn a dual Masters from ENEB because they would have it evaluated as Junior and Senior level work making it equivalent to a RA Bachelors degree. It would also serve as leveling work towards a RA Masters degree or transfer credits to a RA Masters degree if it is evaluated by some as a graduate diploma or just graduate hours.

While ENEB/Universidad Isabel I requires a Bachelors degree for entry, there have been some online stating that they have been able to start courses while still completing their Bachelors program.

That's all rather speculative.

Didn't a different evaluator already report it as a 30 graduate credit diploma? The thing is that Master's degree programs rarely take more than 6 credits in transfer.

I surely wouldn't. Schools eventually catch up on that sort of paperwork.

Cool  All of what I said is speculative.  It just depends on the school and program.   As far as it serving someone without a completed undergraduate degree, I failed to realize that there are two categories of evaluations which are employment and school entrance.   For employment purposes, it doesn't matter as a Bachelors degree is a Bachelors degree.  It may be a completely different story of recognition for schooling purposes.

MBA and MA at ENEB for just under $300 are precisely what they are in Spain, nothing less. We already know that the MBA and MA at ENEB have limited utility in Spain. MBA and MA at ENEB should be displayed on one's CV, precisely how it was recommenced in Spain. Other countries' evaluation of the MBA and MA at ENEB is irrelevant to what they are in Spain.
In Spain, we know a few things
Título propio is second class to Título officiel
Public institutions can issue Título propio and Título officiel
Título propio is cheaper but has limited or no utility for government jobs, and doctoral studies in Spain.

The conversation here has been mostly juvenile. ENEB at $300 is for a niche of students who cannot afford more expensive education. The time spent studying is not wasted time. My recommendation is that if one could pay for the more expensive, more mainstream qualification such as Título official or RA, then that is the obvious better choice.
Many of us who are not privileged have to balanced utility, cost, and knowledge.

I might say repetitive or speculative, but juvenile is a bit harsh.

I otherwise generally agree with your view.

I guess juvenile was a bit harsh.

So here is my major concern with ENEB , what are the markers being paid? My program, have 12 rigorous courses, over 100 modules, and 10 to 20 multiple choice questions (Mostly 20 questions) per module. However, each course has a demanding 18-page final assignment which must be marked. $300 for the whole program, how much of that is for marking the papers? Other than that, I highly recommend this program if this is what you can afford.
I am almost at the end of a program, 9 of 12 courses, and it has not been easy.

It asks upto 18 pages maximum. There is no minimum number of pages. Its mostly not about number of pages but about content

Ok, but every paper is capable of at least an 18-page top quality final report. If one thinks 2 pages is sufficient then more power to that person. It is likely that one will  get out what one puts into the program like another any other program out there.

Do you plan on getting a credential evaluation for your completed degree?
