Hi all,
I have been toying with getting a dual concentration. I'm nearly done with the accounting major and can probably do 3-4 Marketing courses at the 300/400 level via PLA. I would just need 2-3 other courses.
Another choice is CIS, where I could do two as PLA, probably. Then I'd would need four more.
I think CIS would be more valuable, but marketing might be easier. Are there many 300/400 level CIS or marketing courses available via testing or other "alternative" routes?
Thanks for your help.

Need help with portfolios? I earned 18 credits at TESU through portfolio evaluations. Nine of those were for upper level accounting courses. My advice for PLA/portfolios:
TESU portfolio tips The first post has the Portfolio Checklist I created. Page ten has the actual narrative I wrote to receive credit for ACC-440.
Using Straighterline's Financial Accounting as a substitute for TESU's Intermediate Accounting I? Don't do it if you are an accounting major and/or want your CPA license. They are not the same course and I think TESU has erred in accepting the SL course as Intermediate I. I made this discovery here:
Intermediate Accounting II.

Here's everything I have. As always, get all courses pre-approved before you take them. The CIS courses below have all been used for the CIS degree except IT Fundamentals and Hacking which are new. I don't know anyone who's done the JavaOnline course, but it's NCCRS-approved, and you can get 6cr for the lower level courses (3 of them) and 9 total credits for doing all 5 courses. Not sure if any of those would be UL though.

I would double-check to see if TESU will give a dual-degree when you already have a degree. They say they will not award a 3rd degree, not sure if a dual degree counts as 2 or not.

Yea, I don't have a degree yet. I'll need to declare the dual concentration soon.
