You can ask them to add the BACS right now and that will lock in the requirements, though not the equivalencies they give transferred courses.
As far at the ASNSM-CS vs a cert... Associate's degrees can be gotten with all LL courses, while most certs require some UL courses. I would value the cert more, generally. If you look at the TESU CS cert, where you only need one more course for the ASNSM-CS, you would have to do most of the BACS AOS to earn the cert.
