Adding CS concentration now?
#11
You can ask them to add the BACS right now and that will lock in the requirements, though not the equivalencies they give transferred courses.

As far at the ASNSM-CS vs a cert... Associate's degrees can be gotten with all LL courses, while most certs require some UL courses. I would value the cert more, generally. If you look at the TESU CS cert, where you only need one more course for the ASNSM-CS, you would have to do most of the BACS AOS to earn the cert.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

I will check into that. Thanks.

You can also ask them to plan in the courses/tests you intend to take, and that might help if they try to give you guff over equivalencies later.

2 of them said they couldn't until after my graduation was confirmed. Which may happen in just 1 more month.

I no longer plan to delay my degree for the ASNSM-CS.
