I was asked both of these questions too. Got the peyote one correct and can't remember what my guess was on the amendment.
I also had a question about xanthines. I couldn't remember what this was, but guessed at caffeine (correctly).
I took it last week, so still waiting "unpatiently" on my results.

I also wanted to let anyone studying for this know that I used the "Pass Your Class" booklet study guide for this test too, however the Pass Your Class guide was COMPLETELY insufficient prep material.
Most of what was on the test was NOT sufficiently covered in their guide. I'm assuming I passed, and it's thanks to InstantCert and everyone's tips/hints on here.
I would have offered the booklet for free, but figured it was worthless so it went in the garbage.
Some of their other booklets may work, but for this test it got an F.

Chet,
There are different versions of each exam. Some versions have slightly more questions than others. But your final score is 'scaled' to take into account the differences between each version.
My name is Rob

I think it was the answer to a question asking which of a list of items was a stimulent (I was fairly certain that the others weren't). But it still struck me as a weird question since I don't remember reading the word "Chocolate" even once in my preparation.
I got the chocolate question, too. It's a simtulant because it's a source of caffeine.
I got my D&A score yesterday - 66 - I only used IC and the controlled substance schedule. It has some of the more familiar drugs that are not illegal on it as well.
Just as an interesting side note - if your studying and rech for a cup of coffee to stimulate your brain, you could instead reach for a half-pound of milk chocolate because thats how much it would take to equal the caffeine of 8 oz of coffee. Happy munching! (then hit the treadmill)

He remembered the right question, but gave the wrong answer choices. I encountered this question too.
Which amendment repealed prohibition? 21st Amendment will be one of the options (and the correct answer).
Worth knowing. I remember this question vividly because I had to guess on it...and guessed wrong! Still passed though.
Righto. I assumed he asked the wrong question because I was asked which amendment instituted prohibition. My answer was 18 (as I knew it was none of the low numbers, but would have been dead in the water if 19-21 had been a choice). Anywho, just thought I'd point that out. I know those amendments can be tricky!
I'm an engineer. Go figure.

Has anyone taken the peterson practice tests for D&A? If so, what were your scores compared to the actual test?

Got the results back on this one: "A". I used only IC and didn't do any of the tests. I walked out very confident and the score reflects. I found this to be rather interesting so maybe that helped. Much like the rest of the posts on this thread, I got the chocolate, peyote, and xanthines questions as well. By far, this was the best IC guide. Good luck!

Thanks. Took it yesterday and got an "A". Studied for about a week. Next up is Adult /Aging and Ethics. I saw along with Excelsior's practice test for Ethics, they will soon have one for Adult/Aging. I might hold off that one till the practice test is available.

I am taking this one on wednesday. Your thoughts and insights are very helpful. The Drug chart is very helpful. We shall see how I do. I am less nervous after reading this thread.
