On the amendments re: prohibition - those are two I never had trouble remembering through some irony. The year I was 18, the state I lived in changed the drinking age to 21 (my own personal prohibition) and then of course I was able to drink when I became 21.
While this probably wasn't the case for many of you, but 18 and 21 are good "drinking" numbers that are easily remembered.
