Double Major
#1
I was wondering if it's possible to do a double major as a current student. I have already started the BA Accounting degree program and would like to complete one of the a BA in Business Administration Program.

You'd have to ask your academic advisor. There needs to be 30 credits different between the 2 degrees. Not sure if you can double major or if you will need to graduate and then go back for the second bachelor's degree.

I started as a major in accounting in early 2022, and midstream was able to add a second major after talking to Jessica. She made the process very easy.

@MikeHez, it's best to review your current commitments, energy and time available to dedicate towards your studies. If everything checks the box and you have sufficient energy, money, time to go with this second major (it'll most likely add at least a session or two on top of what it will take for one major), I would then email your academic advisor or Jessica to inquire about adding the second major.

You would likely be better served (both time and money) completing the BA Accounting at UMPI, and then moving onto a MBA elsewhere (for the business admin side)

It's worth talking to Jessica about at least. In my case,  I only needed to complete one extra class to get that second major completed due to the course credits I had banked through SDC. Once I found that out it was a no-brainer.
