I have heard that you can resubmit papers/assignments on SDC (study.com), but I can't find any information about it. Is there a limit to how many resubmissions there are, or is there a time window like with tests where you have to wait three days?
It sounds like assignments are given back within a day to a week or two from what I've gathered on the forum. If I'm getting 100 on quizes and around 80 on a proctored final, that means I need to get 30% or above on assignments. Does anybody have experience with this either? Is it easy to make it 500-1000 words instead of 2000 required and pass ok if you only need to get 30%?
Thank you all for the help, this forum rocks!

You can resubmit an assignment twice (three times total) just as you can take an exam up to three times. I know some students have reported submitting halfhearted work or no work at all when their grade was sealed by the exam.
If you stick the rubric as much as possible with the exception of the word count, it's possible to score a 50% or better on the paper. Follow the rubric and you'll be good.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Just be aware that since we started in August, they have been much later in grading things...several weeks. Also, they will not grade things until everything is completed everything including both the exam video (keep track of your grade after you take the exam, but they have to view the video to make sure you haven't cheated) and the papers. If the papers are not completed they will not grade just the exam now. We completed everything for one course Nov. 30th, and it is still not all graded. Since the holidays are here, I assume it will not be graded until January.
Also, you can send the transcripts directly to TESU without going through Acclaim. I plan to do both just in case, but they will receive the transcript quicker if you go directly from SDC to TESU.

Are you sure about this? My last SDC class was in September, and I literally just finished uploading 3 assignments that I forgot about last week. They graded two of them within 12 hours, and the other one took maybe 2-3 days. Since I passed as a result of my exam that I took in September, and with the points from the first two assignments, they let me send the transcript early, since I had already passed the course anyway. When they finally graded the other paper, it was just icing on the cake. You may want to reach out to support@study.com to see what's going on with your work.
