Discounted rates by agreement for out-of-state students.

State & Regional College Tuition Discounts - National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators

Many states have programs that allow residents to attend university in another state, without having to pay out-of-state tuition. Check with your state, or with universities that you're interested in, about available tuition exchange or reciprocity programs, and ask about how to sign up. The FAFSA is not required for these programs, generally.

I'm sure this has been posted somewhere before and honestly not sure how helpful this will. Smile My state is the ONLY state in the South, of course, that has opted out (eye roll) so hopefully this will help someone else.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

Road traveled: AA (2013) > BS (2014) > MS (2016) > Doctorate (2024)

If God hadn't been there for me, I never would have made it. Psalm 94:16-19

That is really helpful. Unfortunately, it only seems to apply toward degrees that are not available in your state, or am I reading it wrong? That sort of limits the utility if you are going for a common major. Good find if you are going into Nuclear Engineering or something similar, though.

I checked out the academic common market for SREB since I'm in the South. There weren't very many options for Texas residents. If you're not seeking a degree that's not offered online in your state, you can just search for schools with an etuition rate for everyone. My state does not participate in the Regional Contract Program for the health professions. Boo! I hope the other regions have better options for the sake of everyone else.

This website will let you search for online and blended programs in the SREB and denotes programs with etuition rates with a green "E."
