Sophia can take a while to update its site. They also only know what their students (and the schools themselves) tell them. Perhaps nobody has officially reported transferring courses to UMPI yet.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)

Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

I just signed up on Sophia to start getting my GEN ed credits done, and I looked on their website and UMPI is not listed. I know in my earlier post I had mentioned that Jessica had told me to look at classes through Straighterline or Study.com and didn't say anything about Sophia.
UMPI and Sophia don't have a partnership. UMPI has a partnership with Study.com and StraighterLine. It's up to the schools who they partner with. UMPI has accepted Sophia courses from many of us. The Sophia courses are also in the transfer database at UMPI.

Further to that, Sophia.org is still one of the later ones that came out, all you should really care about is that they remain ACE recommended for credit and thus transferable to UMPI and others I mentioned in my previous post. StraighterLine and Study.com are the trailblazers for the ACE alternative credit, CSM Learn,, InstantCert, Sophia.org all came after those two providers, and several have closed or sold their operations such as Ed4credit and JumpCourse.
Technically, if Sophia.org didn't change their pricing model, we wouldn't even be recommending them since they previously was always charging $329/course unless you purchase a package or use a "HALFOFF" coupon. Yes, you read that right, it was the most expensive ACE credits, now it's the cheapest! Moreover, Sophia.org is one of two (along with Study.com) that has the added DEAC AQC -

Anyways, don't dwell on why there isn't a articulation agreement or partnership with UMPI, not many providers do have articulation agreements but they still take the courses as long as they have the ACE, NCCRS or some other type of recommendation for credit. You can't have everything for agreements, as long as it saves you energy, money, time and is non proctored, Sophia is still my #1...
