I've seen this mentioned several on the forum and wiki, but can't find anything directly from UMPI.  Do they specify bulk anywhere?  From the BLS program requirements linked on the wiki it only says the following:

We know this because several of us have graduated from UMPI and completed the BLS. I'm one of these people. The 24 UL credit requirement will be on your degree audit from your academic advisor. Here's the degree map for on campus students. Same requirements for YourPace students.

That's the degree map I quoted and linked, it doesn't say bulk or most or have an UL residency requirement.  I'm interpreting bulk something like >12 UL credits must be completed at UMPI or something of that nature.  

Based on what you're saying, if I transfer 90 credits, to include 24 UL credits from SDC and only plan to take the final 10/30 with UMPI (in my case 7 for minor and 3 LL GECs).  The academic advisor will tell me that even though I meet the 24 UL credits to complete the degree I need to take more UL credits through UMPI?  If so, how many? This seems an awfully specific requirement to not have in writing somewhere on their website, degree plans or anywhere that I can find.

The degree audit form says that the majority of the 24 UL credits have to be completed at UMPI. Yes, you need to complete the majority of the 24 ULs at UMPI. I wouldn't spend the money on 24 ULs at Study. I'd spend that money on UMPI. You have to keep in mind that UMPI is an on campus school and not an online school as such the website is designed for the on campus students. Even YourPace students typically complete the majority of their degree at UMPI. Degree audits are performed for each student by your academic advisor. There is a lot of personal attention at UMPI. It's also a VERY small school. Currently there are 1200 students TOTAL on campus, online, and in YourPace.
