Yeah, I have heard a few stories.
Would you mind to share some stories? Because I am hesitate to make decision between BA and BLS.
A BA in Project Management would be a better boos to your resume than a BLS with a concentration in Project Management. I would try to get the BA every time. This does not include the BAS. A BAS at UMPI is, as said, difficult to get into. You probably won't be able to. But a BAS, if you were able to get permission to get one, would still (IMO) sound better on a resume than a BLS.
Well said.
IMO I think the hierarchy goes like this:
BLS - bottom
BAS
BA/BA- best
Take it from someone who actually has a BAS (not from UMPI though). For one a lot job applications have a drop down box to make your highest degree. A few times ive seen the chocie say BA/BS as the only bachelors options. I always feel like I have to explain my degree. People know what a BA or BS and won't question it.
Dont worry about multiple degrees. Just get one first. And if I were you I'd have it be a BA or BS. And since UMPI doesn't offer a BS then get a BA.

Even an AAS and technical credits isn't enough to get into the BAS. I have both and was denied. If the BA I wanted existed the first time I went to UMPI, I would have done my BA and not completed 2 bachelor's degrees at UMPI. I'd go for the BA over the BLS any day.

I graduated with BAS from UMPI and I was allowed to enroll in BA after graduation. I applied, got accepted, got a new degree plan cleared (decided to unenroll because decided to go for masters degree instead). So yes, it is possible.
To follow-up on how I got into BAS: I initially enrolled in BLS program, and at some point I asked my advisor to switch me to a BAS degree. I have AAS from Pierpont, concentration in business. I know at least 2 more people with BAS from UMPI, one of them also used AAS from Pierpont to get into BAS.
MSML, WGU 2022

Is there any additional classes or anything different then the BLS path for BS?
I have A.S in IT and 90 credits at WGU towards B.S in IT Management, plan to switch over to BA business with project management. I'm hoping they would allow me to get the BAS.
