I'm almost at the half way point of finishing my AA (WOO!!!) but I haven't hit math yet. I was going to go with Aleks because math is soooo hard for me and I'll need all the tutoring and all the second chances I can get. I've just briefly scanned Aleks' program but it looks like I can take the tests at home (no testing center??? REALLY?) and get credit.
Here's my question -
I've been to two testing centers (my local center takes FOREVER to set up tests) and if I do Aleks and I really can take the tests from home....how do I request my scores to be sent to Thomas Edison (college of my choice)? My scores are all over the place!

This question is too easy. Yes, you can take ALEKS online at your own pace for $19.95 a month. Yes it is worth college credit (3 credits each course starting with intermediate algebra), yes TESC accepts it. What you need to do if you haven't already is set-up an account with ACE Transcripts at this link:
https://www2.acenet.edu/credit/?fuseacti...ripts.main
Make an account. Once you complete an ALEKS assessment of atleast 70% or better, login to your ACENET account and find the course you complete. Once you find it you will request the transcript from ALEKS(ACE will do this for you). Then once you have all the courses from ALEKS you need you will send your ACENET transcript to TESC. Too easy. Also if you need any Straighterline courses or are planning on completing any, you can also have them sent to ACENET. Hope this helps!
