DBA degree: online, 2-3 years, top US or UK school, accredited
#1
Hello All,

So I am looking for an Online DBA (or maybe 1-2 visits/year), that I can complete between 2 - 2.5 years, from a top accredited US or UK university. I was checking the top universities in terms of DBA in those countries, and I couldn't find an online offering (all are on-campus), and they requrie 4-5 years to complete, and cost between $80K- $100K, which I don't see the ROI for it - I believe that a max of $50K is ok, but willing to pay more if the university deserves it.

Hult School DBA seems as a good one, but it costs $100K in addition to many travels to different locations during the program !!

Thanks!
Sam

@Sam, Welcome to the board, great introduction post... Do you already have a few institutions on your list? Are you looking for specific secondary or programmatic accreditation? I see you mentioned Hult, I mentioned that institution on a few of my posts before too, they've got Triple Accreditation and that's the reason of the cost... I suggest you search the board, there are several posts in the graduate section that have a few options that are Triple Accredited and within your budget too!

When you're done with the search, you may want to review the WIKI, I'm not sure if there are any, but you can search the institutions that are on the WIKI. Compile your list and post them here, have at least 3 main ones you want to go for, and 3 backup options. We can see what that list is and provide recommendations, you can always adjust that list to something more or differently when the time comes. Good luck, have fun, update us...

You can search this board for an online program from Aston, there was a few posts in regards to that university and their tripled accredited degree option...

Aston and montpellier so far - Aston seems to be 4 years, and montpellier is 3 years - montpellier's website does not give you the feeling that they have a professional program and I'm wondering how to get a feedback about it. I still prefer a US or UK based DBA if possible

Is there a way to filter all tripled accredited degrees for DBA worldwide? I'm surprised that no website managed to collect all that info and create some sort of a filtering criteria.

Aston is part/time 4 years, if you work at a full time by pacing yourself, you can finish faster than that... I would not make it blazingly fast by rushing things, but go at a comfy pace you can handle, that way you can finish in 3 years or less by doing full time. It's all about commitments and time management... One of a few reasons why I tell people to do the addendum and template so we know their budget, commitments, study habits, etc...

so far I can't find a US-based DBA, online, triple accredited (regardless of the price for now) ... something similar to Aston Univ. DBA in the UK.

PSB was mostly online, 3 years, AACSB and AMBA and less than 32,000 euros in 2021.
