I was thinking about taking a tecep, was expecting a simple registration process, but it doesn't seem to be. If anyone who has taken the test could help me out I would be very grateful. Does TESU send you a code and you can take the test via ProctorU immediately? What's the deal with the late fee? Should I select a term a month or so out or does this only apply to normal classes. Thanks!

It seems to take them a couple days to process a TECEP registration.
Then you have to wait for the term to officially start before you can take the TECEP. There would be more information in the emails they send.
I've always had the late registration fee waived automatically, so try for the next term if you're still in the late registration period.

TECEP's are treated like a course by TESU - you register in a term just like a course, and you can't take the exam until after the term has started, nor after it has ended.
Nothing that says you can't study whenever you want though.
