This is really interesting. 6 coursera courses at $500 each then 6 regular classes. Get some cost savings from the MOOC model, but also get a more traditional online MBA experience. I've been looking for a productive use of my downtime between when I finish my BS and when I can start a masters and this looks like a good option.
*After reading the website at UOI-UC, I'm confused about how the program works.

Wow - it takes some doing to figure this one out, but I think I got it.
First, you take all of the courses in a "Specialization" through Coursera. They currently have 2 starting soon: Digital Marketing (6 courses @ $74 each = $474) & Improving Business Finances & Operations (7 courses @ $74 each = $553). You do not get college credit for these courses. Then, once you complete the Coursera specialization, you then take a course at the college for $3000, which is the actual piece that you get credit for. You have to take 6 out of 7 specializations, and there are only 2 available at this time. My only question is, since each specialization through Coursera in 5-6 courses plus a capstone, what exactly will you be paying $3000 for through the university? That part is unclear. What does this online course consist of? Interesting, but certainly not cheap!

I found this pretty confusing to figure out what/how many courses are needed and the cost structure. This link helped clear it up for me. https://business.illinois.edu/online/tui...andrefund/
However it looks like the information is not yet available for the other 2/3 of the program

If so could you give feedback on the experience, grades, classes and your knowledge gained from the program? Thanks!
