Can your Sophia credits be rejected when applying for a Master?

All Sophia credits are undergrad. There are no graduate courses currently available on Sophia.

That's not my concern.

My concern is after getting your Bachelor degree, the grad school will look at all your transcripts.

Your Bachelor's Degree is the prereq for the Master's program. They aren't going to make you retake undergrad credits to "prove" you have a degree, that's what the degree is for. The degree is the proof you did the work. If you have the degree, you're fine

Most of the time, you just need the Bachelors degree and any additional prerequisite courses for that Masters degree completed before you apply. Make sure to have a strong application, meaning you hit all the requirements - prerequisite courses, GPA, etc.

My wife got her Associate's from TESU and her Bachelor's from Excelsior in the early 2000s. She used a lot of portfolio assessment, CLEP, NYU foreign language testing and Dantes testing.

She was admitted to all the masters programs she applied to and they never questioned her work. In fact, one of her advisors at the program she chose later said that they like students who do alternative methods as it shows a different kind of intelligence and drive to complete things independently, as long as other indicators speak to the student's ability to perform. She earned a 4.0 in her 60-hour master's program, so clearly they were right to admit her.

You can't get any guarantees that you will or won't get into any program, ever. If you don't get in to somewhere though, it's because your background doesn't fit what they look for in a student which could be for a million reasons. If you do get in somewhere it will be because they see you as a good fit for their program.

A degree is awarded based on you meeting that schools specific degree requirements. The Master's program you're applying to should understand that an individual coming from a different Undergraduate program will not have met THEIR undergraduate requirements, but will have met the undergraduate requirements of the university they are coming from. Therefore, it shouldn't matter to them and they cannot reject your degree based on how you fulfilled your requirements at another university. That would be as absurd as them saying that everything you have completed must transfer into their own undergraduate programs in order for you to be considered for graduate admission. I don't think this should stop you from applying, if anything, it shows that you have taken careful consideration on how you completed your undergraduate degree and have the ability to navigate the complex education system and think outside of the box of how you went about doing so. Congratulations! That in itself is an incredible achievement.

It will definitely depend on the school. I applied to a few MBA programs and they only wanted the transcript where the degree was granted. I transferred colleges. Plus a took more courses after my degree to earn a para legal certificate. They weren’t interested in any other transcripts
