In case anyone is interested, this Chilean university is offering free online courses on a variety of interesting subjects. Apparently they will give you a grade and a digital document at the end if you pass the course. Subjects will change each semester and chances are they will never repeat them ever again. Topics are quite varied. Most courses last 6-8 weeks. The online classes are synchronic. Since there is a limit to the amount of slots allowed per class, it seems like they suggest to select more than 1 class overlapping the same hour to increase the chances you'll at least get 1 class. If you end up selected for 2 classes in the same schedule, the website automatically selects the first class in that given timeslot as your preferred option. They always offer at least 1 history class per semester, so this could potentially be a very low cost option for Spanish BA degrees.

I signed up at UAR for one of the digital courses. The sign up process was pretty quick and easy. Very curious to see if they're actually worth something or are more of a "just for fun" thing like Coursera.

I also signed up to take a "digital room" (Zoom) course. I think it said that these are 0 credits, but I forgot to take a screenshot.
