From my experience they speed up the transferring when you're nearing graduation. Congrats!    Smile

Mind sharing what you filled your AOS electives with?

@Nixi Sure my electives were:

UL:

System Analysis and Design
Database Management
Management Info Systems
Computer Security
Network Security
LA Capstone

LL:

C Programming
Computer Concepts and Applications

@kphung29 Well most of the stuff in my plan probably wont work now as TESU no longer accepts Shmoop and some are B&M credits, but I'm attaching it here.

@NolaRice My plan was knocking out a masters as fast as possible then onto the Apsen DSc in CS. I was also considering the Masters in EE from University of Colorado at Boulder...but that 20k US has me thinking if I really need it.

On the personal side of course I'm going down in age....I'll be 27 this year...so I need to focus on life a little as well...I'm getting married next year and moving to the Philippines..so I may do my advanced degrees there instead...its super cheap...like I can do the masters and PhD for 10% of what it would cost me in the US.

I probably might work in Japan a little as I also have a friend there asking me to come work...The US was my first choice but it seems so hard to get that H1B...too much of a lottery...I really wanted to work at Microchip Technology or Texas Instruments as an Applications Engineer. Its my dream.....

In the mean time I'll be working to finish my second book...and after I'll see what life throws at me after Sept Graduation....

Sounds like an awesome plan.

I loved visiting Japan, but I can't say much about the work-life there. The Philippines has a pretty low cost of living, but I wasn't a fan of how dirty some of the places were.

Much of South East Asia and the Indian Subcontinent is cheap for travel... the costs and standards of living are pretty low... But the places (especially the big cities) are polluted compared to Western counterparts. There are some nicer areas though, it all depends where you're going to be and which country, you can find smaller cities and it'll be just fine.
