I failed my ICCP Systems Security Exam by 2 points. :mad:
Does anyone know of a self paced (Independant Study) course, or a short (8 weeks or less) online course?

Here is a great option Programs and Courses >> KCTCS Online. I'm currently working on it and it's not too bad.

Retaking it did cross my mind. However I checked into KCTCS Online. KCTCS Online offers IT 250 Intro to Security which Excelsior approved to meet the Overview Computer Security req.
IT250 is in 4 modules. The total cost is less than the Excelsior course. Each module there is a pre and post test. If you score 90% or more on the pre test, then you have the option to take the post test. If you score 90% or above on the post test, then you are done! Thats It, NEXT module!!! Credit for Prior Knowledge >> KCTCS Online I registered yesterday, and I took the pre and post tests today. I'm done with module 1. As soon as I get the letter grade for module one, I will register for module 2. The great thing about it is that, because its a college course my employer's TA will pay for it. cheersmate |
