That stuff doesn't matter to me personally so nope.....having said that, I did spend a ludicrous amount on the fancy UMPI diploma frame.

I submitted a photo wearing my cap & gown from last year.

After speaking with a few folks at UMPI we won't be sent the Commencement items such as a tassel or the Latin Honors cords. I have purchased these and here's what matches:

The tassel is royal blue and gold mixed together not separated. 


Latin Honor Cords:

Summa Cum Laude
Gold

Magna Cum Laude
Royal blue

Stoles are only for a few majors. There's no way to get one that matches as the UMPI seal is printed on it. Hoods are not worn by undergrads.

I received my cap and gown yesterday, and the tassel was included. I'll have to order the cord though. Thanks!

The tassel is royal blue and gold mixed together not separated. 

That's weird. The tassel that arrived in my regalia order is not the mixed one. Moreover, if you take a look at pics from past year graduations (e.g. from the link that LevelUP shared in sister thread, or any photos from past years publishes on UMPI website), it is clearly seen that tassel colors are indeed separated. The pics I saw from UMPI had solid gold tassels. I ordered an entire set for cap/gown/stole/cord/tassel from Amazon so I would get it in time to take a pic in it for the slide show. I won't be wearing a stole, but it came with it. Now I wonder if I should order the blue and gold tassel. The one that I got was solid gold because that is what I had seen. I normally wouldn't care, but I want my kids to see me in it and recognize the accomplishment because I want them to always push for what they want no matter how hard it is. I want to set the example.

The tassels aren't solid gold. The tassels are royal blue and gold. The gold cord is for Summa Cum Laude.
