Does IC make a College Algebra CLEP prep? I don't see it in the list on the website and really need that. It's mandatory for almost every IT degree.

IC does not have any flashcards for College Algebra. REA puts out a book with three practice test plus a bare bones review. My favorite study material, however, is the CLEP Professor program, which guides you step by step through all the materials necessary to pass, with on-screen explanations for every problem in the program.
Hope it goes well for you, R. By the way, I also posted more info about the test in the Specific Exam Feedback Section, which you can access if you're paying for IC: http://www.degreeforum.net/62936-post18.html

Does the clep professor have flash card type of learning? how long will it take someone that's been out of school for 10 years or so to learn using this? with IC it wouldn't be long, what about this?

The CLEP Professor program using the lecture method. The creator of the program explains the concepts to you verbally while illustrating all of them on his virtual chalk board. Then he has you complete a number of practice problems, all of which reinforce the concepts you just learned. There is a pretest, which I would skip and just go straight to the lessons. I did, even though it had only been a year or two since I completed my highschool algebra credits.

Don't forget ALEKS and/or StraighterLiner! ALEKS $20 a month until done, and StraighterLiner $99 a month (regardless of how many subjects you can do in that month).
Remember to confirm their definitation of a month (usually 28 days) for billing purposes, so you don't have any surprises. Lots of posted information on the Specific Exam Forums. Judy

I say pay the $20 and use ALEKS to prepare for the College Alegbra CLEP (or you can use it to earn the credits if your school allows it). I actually thought ALEKS was fun, or maybe I'm just a nerd.
