Both my son and daughter-in-law need a couple more math courses to finish BS and AA respectively. They started in ALEKS a few months ago (don't remember if it was Beg. or Int. Algebra - Beg. won't count, but might prepare them for Int.), but got bogged down and then distracted since they were preparing for their wedding, a move, new jobs, etc. Now they really need the degrees. I read on one of the posts that Col. Algebra was easier than Int. What are your thoughts? My son will need 2 math courses and then one science lab (maybe U of Idaho Astronomy) and my daughter-in-law needs one math and 2 science labs for Charter Oak. They are NOT math people and it's been a number of years since high school algebra.
Thanks for any advice you can pass along
