This isn't an "always" price, it's a grant-funded special price for these specific courses. A handful of us from here are already registered. ENG prefix 4 credits $200, no books. You could also take these for undergrad credit if you needed ENG credit, however, I think grad credit would bump these to UL undergrad at TESU. For those with existing master's, this is *almost* a full teaching bundle for $800.
For a limited time, Poetry in America has partnered with Harvard Extension to offer a special low rate of $200 per course at any credit level.
Summer 2018 (intensive 7 week semester):
Poetry in America for Teachers: The City from Whitman to Hip Hop – $200
Fall 2018 (14 week semester- Registration begins July 2018):
Poetry in America: From the Mayflower through Emerson – $200
Poetry in America: Whitman and Dickinson – $200
Spring 2019 (14 week semester- Registration begins November 2018):
Poetry in America: From the Civil War Through Modernism – $200
Poetry in America for Teachers: The City from Whitman to Hip Hop – $200
EDIT to ADD: Here's the link. Also, for summer, you have to be an adult learner. For fall/spring you can be any age. http://www.dce.harvard.edu/
Stupid question time. Can anyone take these courses or are there prerequisites?

no prereqs except for those where English is not their first language. Since it is summer session, it does have an age restriction (that is not normally in place during fall/spring) but yep- just sign up.
I know at least 2 others from this board already signed up, you'll be in good company.

I wish I wasn't knee deep in a grad program already. I wonder if this will last for a while? If so, I know what I'll be doing next.

looks like you'll have 3 semesters (including this summer) with at least 1 at that price! After that, not sure.

Ok, here comes the next stupid question. I don't know how to ask what my head is trying to ask so humor me for a moment.
Looking at the site it says I can register with the intention of no credits, undergraduate credits, or graduate credits.
My thoughts about taking the class are for nothing more than personal enjoyment. My degree paths are more towards a business degree or a psychology IO degree.
Say I sign up for the option of graduate credits. What advantage would these classes have in the future? Other than for personal enjoyment/enrichment?

You could use them toward a certificate.
Grad credits can sometimes be used in an undergrad degree.
If you have an unrelated Masters and at least 18 English credits, you can apply to be an adjunct teacher of English at a community college. (However, 18 credits is the minimum, and they prefer someone with a Masters in English, teaching experience, etc.)

Is there like a credit bank for grad credits besides your school eval? Or do you request a transcript from the grad credit source?
Mainly asking for the Harvard poetry stuff, but others too

The Western Undergraduate Exchange and Graduate might help with cheaper rates for out of state students. Obviously, applies to states west of of Colorado including the Dakotas. Might help someone here.

As far as Georgia Tech, it's just the MSCS, and the new MS in Analytics that are cheap. For the MSCS, if you can handle two courses per term, it's about $6,600 and it's about $8000 if you take one course at a time. The MS Analytics is more, but still under $10,000.

They've added a new Online Master of Science in Cybersecurity around the same price range as the Analytics degree:
