Can Saylor transfer into UMPI?

Hi all,

Will the following two courses of Saylor successfully fill UMPI business administration concentration competency?

Saylor course:
- BUS203: Principles of Marketing (SAYA-0023) 
- BUS206: Management Information Systems (SAYA-0013)

UMPI course:
- BUS 220: Managerial Accounting
- BUS 244: Management Information Systems

I have searched credit equivalency on student system, from SAYLOR to UMPI, and CREDLY to UMPI. The gap is:

1. From Saylor to UMPI, Saylor badge' s title is different from UMPI credit equivalency, please kindly see picture 1 & 2;
2. From Credly to UMPI, both those two courses are listed on UMPI credit equivalency, but not on the same page of "from Saylor to UMPI". Please kindly see picture 3.

As long as the Credly badge has the ACE endorsement, they should transfer.

Saylor courses can be a bit... strange. And Credly has had its own bumps and bruises. I wouldn't worry about the badge naming that much. Saylor's current BUS206 course has ACE recommendation for January 2021 to December 2023. I'm 99% certain that the Saylor course transferred into UMPI was your version. Both the "Saylor" section and the "Credly" section show BUS206 from Saylor as being equivalent to BUS244.

I am not sure why BUS203 shows as Managerial Accounting in one place and Marketing Management in the other. If it comes in as Accounting, but you want Marketing Management, you can always appeal. I don't think you could appeal the other way, however.

There's no way Managerial Accounting is transferring in as Marketing Management. It's an error. We've seen a bunch of errors on the database. There's been a ton of changes too.

As for Management Information System, I agree with you and Saylor can send the transcript to UMPI directly. I liaised with BABA-PMIS in UMPI, thus, I would like to transfer credit for UMPI"Managerial Accounting", finding more platforms except for SDT.

I am planning "BUS 220 Managerial Accounting", SDT is a good way to go as the predecessors suggested. Find out Saylor maybe have the qualification on this course. However, it is so strange that Credly and Saylor are not on the same page via UMPI credit system.

Shall we remind Ms.Barbara of updating those databases? On the other hand, US Government is launched at Sophia at the beginning of May, which is out of list of UMPI database as well.

I wouldn't remind anyone to update the database at UMPI. Of course, US Government isn't on the UMPI database yet. No one has transferred it in yet. A course has to be transferred before it can be added to the database. The database changes all the time.

Do you have a degree plan created for your BABA Management & Leadership?  This is what I suggest you do, fill us in with more details as you haven't filled in the template/last post addendum here...  https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

Basically, Instead of asking for one/two courses at a time to see if they transfer... If you have a spreadsheet with the courses you're going to take for the degree requirements, put that in your google/one drive and link us to it.  Mark the file as viewable, not editable, and when we review the details, we'll provide you our comments.  You can then update us with more questions if you have by replying to this thread.

Thank you for your directions, and I know how to master posts better next time now. I like this forum and would deliver this sharing spirit and kindness to others, like you guys.

I am currently keen on BABA-PMIS, and have transferred credits from Sophia & Course. I read your posts but could not find right place to reply to such topics, so PM works, haha. I have done some searches just now and found that CELP can be remotely proctored. If there is some prior experience posts on threads, please let me know cuz i don't wanna occupy your time too much.
