Ok, so I've done pretty good in the past few weeks racking up some credits. I now need UL and am studying for the Modern Middle East DSST....It's been a long time since somebody posted about it....Anybody taken it lately? anyone have any advice?

I am pretty sure the content of the exam has not changed since the last post on the specific feedback thread. I highly recommend the free CLEP prep practice exam. Stay focused on the content mentioned in the resources available here and at freeclepprep and you will do fine. Allocate enough time to preparation as it is a subject not many people have studied in a prior learning environment.

thanks Waldorfteacher.....that's what I needed to know....it's a lot of information and I am going by all the feedback....I'm midway through Gelvin's book and it's about to kill me.....what dry reading....So, I got the idiots guide to ME and have read that.....working freeclep later today and testing tomorrow...

There's a book posted in the specific exam area that really helped me. i took the exam twice, the content was COMPLETELY different (6 months apart) . . . . the key is to UNDERSTAND the relationship of events and the significance of major players. not just facts and figures, you should understand the reasoning of actions. . . . There's also a few youtube videos that helped with my second test (which I passed with flying colors)
