Today I received mail from UNICAF :
"Dear xxxxx

We are excited to have you join us and believe that this program will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in your chosen field. More than 90% of our graduates are in employment or have earned a higher salary.
We believe that this opportunity will allow you to pursue your educational goals without the financial burden that accompanies a Master's degree programme. We encourage you to take advantage of this offer and join us in the pursuit of knowledge and academic excellence by replying to this email.

Unicaf is currently in partnership with the University of Suffolk (UK), Liverpool John Moores University (UK), the University of East London (UK), the University of California, Riverside Extension (USA) and multi-campus Unicaf University (Africa). Upon successful completion of their study programme, students receive from the relevant awarding body their degree, which is identical to the degree offered to on-campus students.
Any buddies experienced with UNICAF ?

On the sister board, a couple of months ago, we had discussed this institution: https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?thr...caf.62433/
Here's a post of mine from 3 years ago, you may want to read the entire thread: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid311544

I asked for the price of the UNICAF MBA with the Liverpool John Moores University:
They said that it was 15,000 GBP but that they give discounts of up to 75%, and you can make monthly payments in an annual plan.
Then it´s:
15,000 * .25 = 3,750 GBP
3,750 GBP = 4,687 USD
I mentioned that I was not based in Africa, but in Peru, as I read in some of the threads that they had some exclusive discounts for some African countries.

Not as great of a deal as advertised, it seems.
But that's still fairly inexpensive compared to many other universities in Europe and North America though.

Basically, I wonder if you can use the code XX1950 (depending on the country), as each country has their own code, so for Vietnam, it's VN1950, US would be US1950, and get a discount in addition to what is offered... or just the discount to get it at exactly 1950 Euro? Hmm, haven't tried it, may try it later...

I went to grad school in the UK, these are pretty no name universities. Not bad schools but for the price you might as well save the headache and just go to a US school.

They did that for me to make sure I was living in the US and paying international tuition rates.

I think they'll check, but as I linked earlier in post #2, on the sister board, another member was offered that in the US, thus their coupon code was US1950. I would guess every other country would have their own code. It should work, I would apply and verify you're eligible for a discount before going for it though... If you get the discount, go for it, if you don't get the discount, look for another option and put this in the backup pile...

Way bigger headache to go to a no name US school that will charge $40K for the same degree.

Way bigger headache to go to a no name US school that will charge $40K for the same degree. There are plenty of cheap grad schools in the US with online programs and in-state tuition. UK education is also a lot different than the US

Interesting... I got it! A $2500 Scholarship! I wonder what the degree cost is in total?! Would that be under 2.5K for a Masters?!
