UNE has a list of students who have had their premed courses accepted in various healthcare programs (medicine, PA, PT, etc.) UT Austin actually has a list of online and Straighterline courses that they accept for their direct entry MSN and PhD in Nursing.

I just realized that a lot of my course work will be done through UC Berkeley extension, so I'm crossing my fingers that my future grad school won't have a problem with those courses. Argh....
If you're worried about the acceptance of prerequisites, then do the LL credits at NMJC, Clovis, a local community college, or Uexcel. Some schools might also accept CLEP. Do the UL credits at UC Berkeley. I don't think any school is going to be cheaper than UC Berkeley for UL credits. UNE offers LL credits that are hard to find online such as organic chemistry with lab.
While UC Berkeley is reasonably-priced, this is going to be a lot of money to pay out of pocket.

Some might not allow Uexcel? Or do they get transcribed like real college courses?

They get transcribed like an Excelsior course, but with an X at the end of the course code.

Sorry... I guess "dirt cheap" is a relative term. I'm taking these classes at my local community college - which is cheaper & more convenient for me than taking them at a four-year university. I would suspect that you're getting a similar deal through your SL/Ed4credit course.

To answer your question, Yenisei is correct. The capstone counts toward the 18 UL credits.

I for one am confused as to your question. Are you saying that you're going to take science classes through TESU, or are you saying that you're going to take science classes at other schools (like Clovis or NMJC or RioSalado)? If you're saying that you're planning on taking anything except your capstone at TESU, then I think the CLEP/ACE/etc. will definitely not make up for the cost of those courses. TESU charges $1500/course for out of state, which is crazy expensive. But if you want to get the Bio degree at TESU, and take your classes at other less expensive schools, then yes, it's a good plan.

Oh, indeed. I'm not taking classes at TESU (except for whatever is required for the degree). I'll pay for the residency waiver & look for the classes elsewhere. I'm trying to make this as affordable as possible.
