Big 3 Credit Transfer Frequency from ACE?

If you are enrolled and earning a degree, how often do you transfer in new classes that were completed outside the college? ACE does cost money every time. I guess it is probably personal preference, but is there any strategic way you approach this? My son is at COSC.

Personally, I would only send in a transcript every few months. For a lot of people here, that might only mean sending in a transcript 2 or 3 times.

I'd do it based on 3 different reasons:

1) how many credits I have to transfer in. So if I took 10 courses from Sophia in 2 months, I'd send those in; but if I only took 3 courses in 6 months, I probably wouldn't send those.

2) based on the school; for TESU, I'd send by May 31 of each year (so that it was done prior to any changes by July 1) and November 30 (so it was done prior to Jan 1 changes). For COSC and EC, probably less so since they don't make changes as much, and don't have set dates as far as I know.

3) at least once a year minimum no matter what, and get things set in stone on an eval. I know TESU does this (sets it in stone), not certain if EC and COSC do but my guess is yes.

I've been sending whatever I have about once a quarter so 3-4 times per year.

I have 4 courses sitting in ACE from Sophia right now that I haven't requested the transcript be sent yet. Why? I will be completing at least 6 more classes with Sophia before the free classes ends so why waste the money?
