I dont know if there is already a topic. How long does it take to finish a bals if you have zero credits? (not my case) and if you not use clep/dsst/other usa only things.

it all depends on the person and also the school they are going to. Some people on this fourm have taken years and others have taken one year or less. The required capstones, cornerstones, exam limits by study.com, lack of UL CLEP/DSST and more make it so it isn't as fast as it used to be years ago. There was a guy like twenty years ago who finished the entire degree in 4 weeks. And many old posts on this fourm talk about people finishing in 4-6 months. But none of this is possible anymore.
For TESU at least now that you must have 100 credits evaluated into your plan with most of the AOS done before you can register for the capstone. So you can't just apply, sign up for the capstone and work on the rest of your degree while doing the capstone. I think the fastest possible TESU degree is now 6 months but that would be VERY difficult to do with zero credits.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but from scratch with zero credits, I think 6 months is the absolute minimum for any kind of degree from the big 3. And even then 6 months would not be easy.
But it is not a race, many people on this fourm have jobs and kids or other commitments. That is an advantage to this kind of education is it is at your own pace. So as a result people can take years to finish their degree.

I started off with 18 credits from B&M university in Dec of 2018 and now have 96. BUT, I have been absolutely heads down focused on weekends and weeknights (I work more than 40 hrs a week, am married and have kids) and they (family) don't spend much time with me. They know how important this is that I just get it done and we are all sacrificing our time together right now. I'm hoping to finish up this year if I can and get this check in the box!
Not sure of your situation but if you are willing to plow through it, you can do it!

If you don't use CLEP/DSST, etc a traditional degree in the US takes 4 years. But since TESU offers courses all year round that start every month. It wouldn't be that difficult to graduate in 3 years at TESU. If you really took a full load everytime year round you could do it in 2 years. TESU (and all of the big 3) are schools geared towards adults and so most of their students have some prior credits prior to enrolling even if they follow the traditional route. Very few students would take 100% of their courses at TESU, EC, COSC.
But outside of the big 3, an average college degree in the US takes 4 years. A bachelors degree is sometimes called "a four year degree" the irony is that only about one-third of students actually finish in 4 years. Many take even longer due to changing a major, course availability, and more.

From providers like Study.com and Straighterline, two courses a month is not an uncommon pace, but some people go much faster, and some a little slower. It all depends on how much existing knowledge you bring to the effort and how much time you have to spend on it.

I’m going for it right now and started about two weeks ago. As of tomorrow, I will be at 16 credits and that will be the end of the free courses for me. Im aiming to graduate within a year or so with no CLEP’s (I’m not good at testing, so CLEP’s simply do not interest me). I’m hoping to knock out 2-3 courses per month, but it all depends.

I think a year would be fast but doable for a motivated person.

Yep. I’m going to complete in a year, or possibly a few months after, but the reality is that with the capstone and the other course, it might just be a bit longer, but I am fine with that, as it still isn’t 4 years.

I think a motivated person can do this in 18 months. That's how long it took me, and I had a couple of obstacles. (1) I didn't have any money, so I had to save and pay as I went. With CLEP being free now, that would have helped me move a LOT faster, but I did my first 60 credits via CLEP/DSST in 6 months. (2) I had little kids - so I didn't have big chunks of time every day to dedicate to studying. If you're a single person and work a normal full time job, I think you could easily accelerate the process to about 12 months. Again, this assumes high motivation.
