Except it does:
For the Board of Governors, Occupational Development and Technical Studies Associate of Applied Science degrees, a student must complete at least 12 credit hours at a regionally accredited institution and at least 3 credit hours at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College.

They have a $25 application fee and it'd cost about $1k for 3 credits. https://www.blueridgectc.edu/financial-a...tion-fees/ If you really, really need an associate's degree for work purposes, the cost isn't too bad. I'm not sure that they accept ACE credits, though, so this might only work for students who already have 60+ credits and never managed to get a degree.

Sidenote not meant to derail but, your signature is my quandry... I don't know whether to do a BS Psych from COSC or a BLS Edu from UMPI. I may pick your brain later if you don't mind (after I get more credits under my belt)

LOL, If I had the energy/money/time, I would do exactly the AAS, BLS Ed, then the BS Psycho... they will ladder up to each other nicely, otherwise pick one of the Bachelors over the other as it would be a much better deal going for a competency based Masters than getting another Bachelors. Just food for thought.

Actually, for the cost, I think it would be a sweet deal to get the BOG AAS, and another Associates from COSC, then finish off the BA at COSC, then work on the Masters. Unless Education is a field you want to get into, the BLS Education wouldn't really fit into any other vertical whereas the Psychology degree will go into several others just fine.

It has a lot to do with cost. The BLS Edu from UMPI will be really inexpensive taking those last 10 classes.
I'm thinking the BA of Psych at COSC will be more expensive.
It really doesn't matter what the bachelor is in for me, it's being used as a "check the box". I however am very interested Psychology. I just would like to do it as cheap as possible, lol.
