Anyone receive their BOG degree?

I was wondering if anyone who graduated in May has actually received their BOG degree. I called last week and was told I should receive it by June 30th and haven't gotten anything.

Can you verify you received your diploma?  I havent received mine and have reached out to the registrar with no resolve.  I am a May 2024 graduate as well.

Sorry for the delay, but yes I received my diploma. J.J. the registrar actually reprinted & I received it a week later. Then just a few days ago I received the diploma that was originally mailed out in June. Not sure why there was such a long delay. 

After receiving the diploma I'm quite disappointed in the quality of it. I wonder if there's a service that can print and emboss the diploma on better paper.

I spoke to someone on the phone from pierpont earlier today and they said conferral has not yet finished their working through everyone and expect to finish the last of them by the end of next week. We will see.

Hey, all! Been lurking for years. Just wanted to pop in and thank everyone for their invaluable insights and contributions to this site. After a very long journey, my AAS BOG with an information systems AoE was conferred last month! I joined Sophia during the pandemic and stuck with it, with a pause of several months during my husband's illness. He passed away, sadly, but I kept my promise to him to keep with it until I finish my degree. I've been admitted to WGU with plans to start the computer science program soon. Congratulations to all on their hard work on their degrees, and good luck!

Great job in getting this first step done and moving forward towards your Bachelors... Congratulations on your completion of the BOG AAS! Just curious why you chose WGU BSCS instead of TESU BACS?

Thank you! TESU would have been more expensive out-of-pocket, and more hoops to jump through. I don't mind taking most of my UL classes from WGU. The Pell Grant will be my main form of funding. It was cool that WGU gave me credit for some classes just for having the AAS. Transferred to Pierpont: 90 Sophia, 12 CLEP, and 15 ancient RA credits. How ancient? Well, let's just say they added a few elements to the periodic table since then! So ancient the school keeps them somewhere in a dusty vault called "Legacy Transcripts."

My sister in law just got her Pierpont diploma in the mail last week! She got it in the Communication concentration.
She's already at UMPI this semester.

Congrats to your sister in law... Was she a Summer graduate? Just trying to figure out the timeline from graduation to the student receiving their diplomas in the mail.
