Book for Computer Systems
#1
I like to study from several resources when I take a CLEP....when I didn't I failed my exam. Smile So, what resources would you all recommend for the CLEP Intro to Computer Systems? I can't seem to find an REA book that corresponds to this exam.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if you can do this, but I believe the DSST equivalent of this test is easier. In the dsst, a lot fot he more technical, obscure things are not there and much of it is common sense if you use a computer regularly.

So you would recommend the DSST over the CLEP? I am very familiar with the CLEP format, but have never taken a DSST. What would I use to study for the DSST?

I took the CLEP today with absolutely 0% studying and passed with a 62. It was all what I consider basic computer knowledge and there was obviously a percentage that I didn't know that was more advanced like SQL and the like but it was overall very basic stuff.

I scored higher on the DSST, using the same material. Just take Peterson's practice tests and see how ready you are.

DSST exams are very similar to CLEP exams in format, except there are only 4 choices.
