Actually, you kind of did.  Your words: "I would imagine more people are going to be looking at the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Excelsior instead of the BA in Computer Science at TESU."

Usually people want a BACS specifically for a reason.  If they don't need it to be a BACS, they come here and ask about the easiest/fastest/cheapest tech degree.  BACS degrees normally require some amount of Calculus and Data Structures while most IT degrees don't.  There are other differences, but math is one of the big ones.

It's not uncommon for people to change the degree they are pursuing after considering price and what transfer options are available. I'm not the only person considering switching from TESU to Excelsior. The point of the thread is not about how similar computer science and I.T. degrees are and it's not unfathomable that someone could be on the fence between two of those degrees. It's already happening.

Excelsior never got back to me about whether they would take any study.com tech courses, so I probably won't pursue finishing this worksheet anyway.

In my experience, if you're not actively enrolled at Excelsior, don't expect much in the way of support. They may answer a few questions but won't invest much time into any responses when they respond at all. TESU is generally the same way. COSC seems better about responding, at least I didn't have any problem getting them to answer questions when I was planning to attend there back in 2010.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23

Please consult with your advisor before taking a course. Information for entertainment purposes only.

Excelsior got back to me and said that SDC's Database Management course was transferrable to their Information Technology program as early as Fall 2018. However, Systems Analysis and Design and Computer Architecture were not listed.

I think they're so new and Excelsior may not have had anyone try to transfer these courses, so maybe they just haven't been presented with them yet. There are always exceptions.
