Any modifications or considerations to my plan at TESU?
#41
No. Again, you only need 6 TESU credits. If you want to avoid the residency waiver, you would do a flat-rate term of 16 credits. But, if you have the budget (which some people do), you could take the cornerstone and capstone(s) from TESU and then complete another 24 RA credits somewhere cheaper.

If you do the flat-rate term, the remaining 14/15 RA credits can come from literally anywhere that gives RA credits. You do not need to do another flat-rate term. 5 TEL Learning classes would be $1000 and cheaper than another flat-rate TESU term. ASU would be $2125 for 5 classes and that would be about half a TESU flat-rate term. 5 LL TECEPs would be $750 and be one of the cheapest, though possibly most difficult, ways of earning RA credit.

TECEP exams do not count for residency, though.

Well, since the BACS and BSBA have separate capstones, he'll actually need 9 TESU credits, but that's it.

OP, you can't seem to understand that you can (and really SHOULD) reuse RA credits in the second degree, and that you can earn RA credits cheaper elsewhere. Planned out correctly, you can do both degrees with as few as 33 RA credits (the extra 3 being because of the separate capstones). To accomplish this, your RA credits need to be either in the GenEds, or in the free electives (or a hybrid where a course in the AOS of one degree is used as an elective in the other).

In addition, you can avoid the residency waiver fee for both degrees with just 16 TESU credits.

Though there is another degree, so I would have to attend another term(2 in total) at TESU to complete the other 16 credits after I bring in other RA credits. Is this correct?

There is no OTHER 16 credit or OTHER 30 RA credits.

Take a look at the double-degree plan. You will see how the TESU RA course credits are reused from degree to degree.

Swapping CIS for Finance is similar.

I can understand how it may be hard to visualize how these 2 degrees fit together. What I suggest is doing your degree in parts.

Step 1: Do GE (works for both degrees)
Step 2: Do AOS CS
Step 3: Do Professional requirements for Business
Step 4: Do AOS finance

** Don't worry about electives. Those will be automatically filled from one degree to the next.

Do Sophia, Study.com, then TECEP, then TESU courses.  (basically)
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.

Thank you for the clarification, I updated the spreadsheet below. Some notes:

1. Desired degrees BACS, BSBA Finance and ASNSM Math

2. I have in total 30 RA credits. 18 at TESU and bringing in 12 credits from TECEPs. I know I could do 16 credits at TESU but I don’t want to go through the hassle of finding what course from an alternative source will correlate.

3. The electives for finance I could’ve shared credits, though I used that section to fill the requirements for ASNSM Math. And added an extra Study.com to get my money worth of 5th course for that month.

Please advise me if this plan is set up right, any changes, considerations, etc to this plan.

BTW, in case you weren't aware, you must graduate with both degrees at the same time. You cannot graduate with Degree A on one graduation date and then Degree B on a different graduation date. That calls new (and more complicated) rules into play. It's not impossible to do this, but it's just so much easier to graduate with all degrees at once.

Thank you for reminding me of this. I understand you cannot have two graduation dates. Though can I finish degree A and then degree B on separate dates? Is the plan correct meaning I fulfill the credits requirements?

Yes, you can do something like finish Degree A in December and then finish Degree B in March. So long as you don't apply for graduation before Degree B is completed, you're fine.

Alright I’ll do that. Would you say my plan fulfill the credit requirements, and I can take action now?

The most recent plan you uploaded is a bit of a mish-mash. Credit used in the GE cannot be used in the AOS (or vice-versa). So, for instance, you need 3 more credits of math for the ASNSM Math because you cannot use College Algebra twice.

You do NOT need FIN-382 and FDR-440 from TESU. Take FIN-301 Introduction to Finance from Davar and Finance 301: Corporate Finance instead. Take the Liberal Arts Math TECEP for the ASNSM Math to ensure you have sufficient RA credits.
