A good idea. This allows you to transfer in credits continually in order to confirm where they go and how close you are to your goals. If it takes you longer than 12 months to finish, you'll need to pay for the TECEP again.

As already stated, you don't need 30+ credits directly from TESU. If you don't want to pay the residency waiver, about half can come from other sources. You can generally earn these credits in any order, with the major exception being the capstone(s). You enroll for one, then you have to email an advisor to ADD any additional degree(s) to your plan. Unfortunately, they will sometimes CHANGE your degree, instead of adding, so you have to email them again to get the first degree re-added. For new students, it's no big deal. Yes, overlapping GE classes only need to be taken once. You do not need to take them multiple times for multiple degrees.

Yes. Same with any TESU classes.
A slightly more confusing, though cheaper, option for "RA credits" for TESU would be to earn free/low-cost ECTS from a Finnish university, have them evaluated by ACEI, and then transfer them to TESU. Instead of paying $156 for 3 LL credits or $231 for 3 UL credits, you'd pay about $200 for the evaluation of all the free credits you're able to earn. These would mostly wind up as electives, though there are some classes that should go elsewhere.
But, if you'd prefer TECEPs, that's totally fine and up to you.

Sophia is much cheaper & faster than SDC for most Gen Eds. Once you take into account scheduling, potential time off work, etc., Sophia can even be cheaper than "free" CLEP exams. Most students are able to complete 60+ Sophia credits in 2-3 months for a total cost of $200-300.

Google sheets works. You can just share a link to your spreadsheet. You should be able to make it so "anyone who has this link can view, but not edit" when generating the link.

CLEPs can be done for free through Modern States - https://modernstates.org. Many of your SDC courses could be completed much cheaper through Sophia; actually Sophia offers many of the CLEP topics as well. SDC is good for things not found elsewhere, and a great resource for UL credit courses. Here is the Wiki page for the Sophia Equivalency List - https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/So...lency_List

Once you complete the prep course you request a voucher to cover the exam, it is my understanding there is a way to get them to reimburse any site fees that you may have as well - https://modernstates.org/freshman-year-free/

I see, thank you. A question I do have about Sophia. On the wiki it says "Sophia charges $79 per month and there is no built-in limit to the number of courses you can complete that period. But you can only have two courses active at one time.". Does that statement mean I can complete unlimited amount of courses(complete meaning finish course and earn credit) but can only work on 2 different courses at the same time?

The price is now $99/mo, plus there are additional prices for longer terms.
And yes, you can only have 2 courses open at once - but as fast as you can complete them, you can open more and the number of credits you can earn each month is unlimited.
It's advised that you only have 1 course with a greater amount of milestones (written assignments) at once, and the other course should be something without milestones if possible, so that if you're waiting for a milestone to be graded on 1 course, you can continue working on the other course.

Thanks for pointing out the price; that line has been fixed on the wiki now.
And, yes, you can theoretically earn unlimited credits every month at Sophia. Your only limits are what they have available and how fast you can go through them. Courses with multiple Touchstones (graded assignments) can take several weeks apiece to finish, so it's a good idea to only have one such course open at a time. You can see which courses have Touchstones, and how many, here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/So...lency_List
In theory, Sophia will allow you to have more than 2 classes open at a time, if the only thing you're waiting for is a Touchstone to be graded, but you have to contact support and have them manually add a 3rd or 4th class for you. But this is a fiddly and unreliable process because this kind of support is only available on weekdays during business hours.
