I feel like my online community college classes were harder than the B&M university classes! I believe because it was online, they make you do more writing instead of testing. Edit: Well, one online class was fairly easy. It depends on the class.
This thread makes me glad I am doing TESU. Unfortunately I think that COSC sounds a little worse, and EC sounds much worse, to these people. (I personally feel like EC might be a bit harder.)
I just realized greencouch was talking about attending the online "Global Campus" and not local. It seems like the responses were about a local B&M versus an online school. Greencouch, wouldn't your future employers be able to see it was through the "Global Campus"? I guess it's still a school they are familiar with, unlike TESU, but I like how the TESU diploma and transcript don't say something like Global/Online. Some employers might not realize it was done online.

I haven't had any issues with people thinking that TESU is a diploma mill or like for-profit colleges, but there is an advantage to attending in-state universities people recognize. In New Jersey, TESU is more well-known and seen as a respectable college. I'm sure the same can be said for Excelsior in New York and COSC in Connecticut.

I'd be attending the "Global Campus", online version of WSU, although I
also happen to live near the physical campus. According to WSU, the diploma would have no differentiation on it between the physical and online school.
I probably should've just asked for opinions on their online program without including my background details. Seems it's led us down a rabbit hole. It's an interesting conversation, though!
