Please recommend those accredited universities in the United States and Europe that let you finish your doctorate in psychology by completing the dissertation portion only if you are already done with the coursework at a non-APA-accredited university in the United States. Thank you.

Have you searched for programs that would accept a non-APA transfer? It may not be as easy as just completing the dissertation due to accreditation requirements. Why not complete your dissertation at your university? Did you research transfer from non-APA to APA before enrolling in the program? I ask because many times transferring on the graduate level is far more complex and the accreditation issues can be problematic.

I am in the same boat. I am PhD-ABD in Industrial & Organizational Psychology at a non-APA program. I attended Baker College for the DBA-ABD program. I can still go back but I dropped before I was academically dismissed. I am just not able to complete the dissertation portion. There are different ABD programs out there in education and Baker is the only one in business. I have searched. I even applied to some of the education ones but was denied because I haven't worked towarda a degree in Education. It has taken awhile but I have learned to accept my ABD status. Good luck in your search.

Look at the threads I have made under my profile for ABD programs and no-dissertation doctoral programs. Indiana Wesleyan University and University of the Potomac have ABD programs in business administration. Marywood has an ABD PhD in Strategic Leadership and Administrative Studies. Capitol Technology University accepts up to 42 transfer credits. Oklahoma State University has a no-dissertation Doctor of Health Care Administration that accepts up to 30 transfer credits.

More ABD programs are listed below. Northcentral University was bought by National University.

Thanks for this list. I am definitely interested in the Indiana school. Northcentral/National is not an option for me because that is where I was working towards my PhD. I will check these schools out.
