I recently took and passed the Humanities exam with a score of 69, so I went ahead and scheduled the A&I Literature exam this week thinking that much of what I learned would carry over to this subject.
Last night I took one of the REA practice exams and only scored a 55. This has made me very uneasy about proceeding with this exam. Should I go ahead and take it or should I delay the test and study more? Many people in the Specific Exam Feedback have taken this exam without any study at all. I am really unsure of what I should be studying to improve my percentages.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I took it last thursday and passed with a 65. I didn't use the REA practice tests but I did use the peterson practice tests. I scored in the high 60's and then the night before the test I scored a 55 on the practice test. I still passed and BTW I have heard some say that the REA is harder than the actual test.

Thanks Nick94! I am scheduled to take this exam tomorrow and I am feeling a little uneasy because of the score on my practice exam. I will take another tonight and see how it goes. I am finding the whole analyzing thing a little overwhelming.

I took this exam today. I did not study anything and I passed with a 59 (I got some BS long poem with 10 questions on it)
This is hardly something you could study for. I had 11 minutes left and fairfly sure I was going to barely fail or pass. A lot of other people who have taken this test have stated that they thought they would fail, however, they passed with a good margin.
Number one thing is don't be worried. I have taken so many exams in the past few weeks that the test center lady remembers me and doesn't even have to ask what test I am taking. Be comfortable and relax.

Exactly so. I took all three of the REA practice tests before I went in for the real thing. I think I got 58% on the first two and 67% on the third one. After the second test I did the practice questions in the Official CLEP Guide, a huge confidence booster. I think I got 82% of those right. It must have been somewhat accurate, since I got a 70 on the real thing.
This is a fun exam; don't sweat it! You'll do fine.

Thanks for your words of encouragment. I took the exam a couple of hours ago and scored a 66! I nearly threw in the towel on this one, but after you guys shared your exam experience with me I decided to keep my appointment and take the exam. I am so glad this exam is behind me and I have you guys to thank for helping me over the hump.
