Ok, so you are basically filling general education electives -- the two exams I noted are perfect.
If computer savvy you could also look into the DSST COS101 Intro to computing for 3cr. Again, IC flashcards is all you will need. I'm not sure if they have the dsst version of the flashcards yet, if not you can just use the CLEP info systems and app cards as a substitute. I think the DSST version of the exam was very easy (exam questions were short and to the point); in my opinion, CLEP exams tend to get very wordy.
Another fast, cheap option for 3cr is ALEKS intermediate algebra MAT115 (if you do not already have it). Here is some basic info
http://degreeforum.wikia.com/wiki/ALEKS also do a search on the forum for insight.

I just came back after taking this exam.. and I was second guessing myself all the way through. I am very bad at understanding poems and literature. But I passed with some miracle... I spent the full amount of time allowed. I studied a week and a half for this test and used mainly the clep exam books version 2010 and 2012 which were the same. I studied somethings that were said in this forum like vocab. But don't go crazy with those..I studied them way too much. I bought the one month speedyprep.com and didn't really find it helpful for this exam.. it did help me memorize the vocab words better. But when I interpreted the passages on their I lost my confidence because it kept telling me I was wrong. But overall I think InstantCert was on the dot with what to expect walking into the exam! Passing was 50 and I got a 53! Thank you!

Just took this exam. To study for it I read the REA CLEP prep book although I could have done without even doing that. There were 2 questions out of 80 that asked something specific from the REA book regarding definitions of a specific type of literature term. The other 78 questions were about the passages that were given on the test. I made a 58/80. GL

Just a comment on your wording of "...earned them all the hard way..." I've studied longer and harder for some of my CLEP/DSST/and soon to be ECE tests, than I have for many of my online or B&M courses. While I think the tests have fit my lifestyle needs, I don't think it was necessarily an easier way.

this clep was pretty easy... if you use the petersons tests and score 50+ you should do fine. took it today spread out my petersons ever 2 days (over the course of a week) and scored 57 on the final test scoring 55,57,61 on the petersons tests!
