Is it possible that insertcert is enough for the clep exam ? Or we need more referance ?

I took this test today, and failed by 4 points. I was using this site and the CLEP College Algebra book. I'd say that if you're really comfortable with this subject, it shouldn't be too hard. I just finished Algebra II for my math course, and then decided to take this test. I was very close to passing, but didn't quite make the cut. My main resource was this website. It basically depends on how good you are at math and how confident you are with the test.

https://www.udacity.com/course/ma008 you don't have to do the entire course, you could just brush up on specific topics

Do you have any suggestions for a newbie that is absolutely horrible at math. Never had an algebra class in my life. EVER !!!!

Start Aleks at a place where you feel comfortable and work from there. Make sure the courses are on the ACE list. It is quite possible to go from Pre-Algebra through Precalculus in several months.

EVER !!!!I started with practice problems (Google "college math CLEP") and would go to Math | Khan Academy whenever I needed help with a concept. Sal Khan has videos of himself explaining concepts and working through problems, plus online problems for you to practice with. Once you feel that you've got the hang of the math, try some practice tests for the CLEP.

I need to take this exam by the end of this week and I HAVE to pass - I feel like the book doesn't cover a lot...I was great at math in high school - got 90's on both math regents but it's been 9 years...what does the test focus on mostly - like which topics?
